She won a triples silver medal at the 2000 World Outdoor Bowls Championship in Johannesburg, South Africa. [2]

Polley was the 1993 National triples champion at the National Championships. [3] [4]

The Asia Pacific Bowls Championships formerly the Pacific Rim Championships was a lawn bowling competition held between national bowls organisations in the Asia Pacific region. The event was inaugurated in 1985, and it was initially held every two years but then took place every four years and was a qualifying event for the World Outdoor Bowls Championships.

The Scottish National Bowls Championships is one of the oldest bowls competitions in the world. In 1892, James Brown of Sanquhar Bowling Club and Dr Clark of the Partick Bowling Club formed the Scottish Bowls Association and organised the first rink (fours) championship the following year at the Queen's Park Bowling Club, Glasgow.

The Irish National Bowls Championships combines Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
