Jill Zwick (born June 12, 1944) is an American politician. [1]
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Zwick went to Bradley University and Roosevelt University majoring in business. Zwick is a Republican and served on the Kane County Board. From 1981 to 1987, Zwick served in the Illinois House of Representatives. [2] [3] She was primaried by her ex-husband Morton "Mort" Zwick and she withdrew from the race. [4] [5]
Zwick served as state director for six years from 1992-1998 under Senator Carol Moseley-Braun. [6] [7] She then became director of the Department of Intergovernmental Affairs in the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office under Secretary of State Jesse White. [6]
After 22 years in the Department of Intergovernmental Affairs, Zwick retired in 2021. [6]
