Jim Mill (born November 17, 1967) is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender.

In 1998, following his playing career, Mill was hired to an operations staff position with the American Hockey League (AHL). In 2001, he was promoted to Vice President, and in 2007 he was named the AHL's Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations. [1]

From 2009-2015 he served as the assistant general manager with the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). Since 2015 Mill has served as a Pro/Amateur Scout with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL).

John Arlington Butterfield was a Canadian professional ice hockey administrator and the president of the American Hockey League, serving the longest tenure of any AHL executive. He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Holland assumed his role in Edmonton on May 7, 2019, after a long front-office tenure with the Detroit Red Wings, serving as executive vice president and general manager of the club from 1997 to 2019 and winning three Stanley Cup championships. In 2009, Holland was listed as second-best overall on Sports Illustrated's list of the top sports executives of the 2000s.
