James Scott is a retired American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Aurora University from 1986 to 2004. [1] Scott revitalized a program that hadn't fielded a team since 1951. [2] After his retirement from coaching, Scott remained on staff at Aurora as an algebra instructor. [3]

Jon David Gruden is an American football coach who is the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders of the National Football League (NFL). He first served as the Raiders' head coach from 1998 to 2001 during their tenure in Oakland and rejoined the team in 2018. In between his tenure with the Raiders, he was the head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2002 to 2008, whom he led to their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXVII. At age 39, Gruden was the then-youngest head coach to win the Super Bowl. Gruden also served as an analyst for ESPN and Monday Night Football before he returned to coaching.
Don Lee Beebe is an American football former wide receiver and coach who is the head football coach at Aurora University. He previously played in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons, primarily with the Buffalo Bills. In addition to his six seasons with the Bills, who selected him in the third round of the 1989 NFL Draft, he was a member of the Carolina Panthers during their inaugural season and played for the Green Bay Packers in his last two seasons.
James Donald Haslett is an American football coach who is currently the inside linebackers coach for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He was also linebackers coach for the Cincinnati Bengals from 2016 to 2018. Previously, he was head coach for the Florida Tuskers of the United Football League and the New Orleans Saints in the NFL.

Bernie Hawthorne Moore was an American college football, basketball, track and field coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at Mercer University (1926–1928) and Louisiana State University (LSU) (1935–1947). Moore was also the head basketball coach at Mercer (1926–1928) and the head track and field coach at LSU (1930–1947). He was then SEC commissioner from 1948 to 1966. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1952.
James K. "Pat" Dwyer was an American football player and coach. He served as the head coach at Louisiana State University (1911–1913) and the University of Toledo (1923–1925), compiling a career record of 28–22–2.
Scott Andrew Frost is an American football coach and former player who is the head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He played six years in the NFL for the New York Jets, Cleveland Browns, Green Bay Packers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Before Nebraska, Frost was the head coach at UCF during the Knights' 13–0 2017 season. Frost was the starting quarterback for Nebraska's 1997 national championship team.

The James Madison Dukes football program represents James Madison University in the sport of American football. The Dukes compete in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) as members of the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA). The university first fielded a football team in 1972, and the Dukes play at the on-campus Bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The Dukes are currently coached by Curt Cignetti.

Carl Warren Selin was an American football basketball, and baseball coach. He served as the head football coach at Aurora University from 1950 to 1951 and at the University of California, Riverside from 1956 to 1958. Selin was also the head basketball coach at Aurora from 1951 to 1953, where he compiled a record of 4–35. In addition, Selin was the head baseball coach at Aurora from 1952 to 1953, posting a record of 5–24–1.
Lester Lamont Larson was an American football player and coach. He was the first head football coach in the history of the University of Louisville, serving in that position form 1912 to 1913. At the time of his hiring, he was working as a typewriter salesman His first team at Louisville in 1912 finished with a record of 3 wins and 1 loss. His second team in 1913 finished with a record of 5 wins and 1 loss, including a 100–0 win over Washington College of Tennessee.
