Jingan District District in Shanghai, China

Jing'an District is one of the central districts of Shanghai. In 2014, it had 1,180,000 inhabitants in an area of 37 km2 (14 sq mi).

Jingan Temple station Shanghai Metro interchange station

Jing'an Temple is the name of an interchange station between Lines 2 and 7 of the Shanghai Metro. This station is located in Jing'an District, below the historic Jing'an Temple and the Jiu Guang shopping mall. It is part of the initial section of Line 2 that opened from Zhongshan Park to Longyang Road that opened on 20 September 1999; the interchange with line 7 opened on 5 December 2009 as part of that line's initial section between Shanghai University and Huamu Road.

Shanghai Natural History Museum

The Shanghai Natural History Museum is a museum dedicated to natural history in the city of Shanghai. It is one of the largest museums of natural sciences in China. Formerly housed in the Shanghai Cotton Exchange Building, the museum was moved to a purpose-built site in the Jing'an Sculpture Park in 2015.

The geography of Shanghai is characterised by its location on the Yangtze River Delta on China's east coast and its proximity to the Pacific Ocean via the East China Sea. The park opened on June 16, 2016. The park operated in its first half-year with a visitor attendance of 5.60 million guests.

Fuxing Park

Fuxing Park is located in the former French Concession of Shanghai, China, in Luwan District near Nanchang Road; the main entrance is at the cross street of Fuxingzhong Road and Chongqingnan Road. It was once the largest park in Shanghai. The park was laid out by the French in 1909. The park, about 10 ha. in size, is designed in the French style, with a lake, fountains, covered pavilions, and flowerbeds. Early morning, the park fills with dancers, card players, mahjong enthusiasts, and tai chi solo and group artists. According to Time magazine's Hannah Beech, it is one of the must-see sights in Shanghai.

Guyi Garden

Guyi Garden is a classical Chinese garden in the town of Nanxiang in the suburban Jiading District of Shanghai, China. The garden is located about 21 kilometres (13 mi) from the city centre. Designed in the typical style of a Jiangnan classical garden, Guyi Garden is regarded as one of the five most important classical gardens of Shanghai.

Zuibaichi

Zuibaichi is a Chinese garden in Shanghai's suburban Songjiang District that dates back to the Song Dynasty. It occupies an area of 5 hectares and is one of the five ancient Chinese gardens in Shanghai, along the Guyi Garden, the Yu Garden, the Garden of Autumn Vapors, and the Garden of Zigzag Stream.

New York University Shanghai Jointly established college in China

New York University Shanghai is China's first Sino-US research university and the third degree-granting campus of New York University (NYU). Jointly established by NYU and East China Normal University with the support of the city of Shanghai in 2012, it was the first US university to receive independent registration from China's Ministry of Education. While classes are in English, some proficiency in Chinese is required for graduation. Upon graduation, students will receive a bachelor's degree conferred by New York University - the same degree awarded at the New York campus - as well as a Chinese degree recognized by the Chinese government.

Jiuduansha Intertidal wetlands of Shanghai

Jiuduansha is a collection of four intertidal wetland shoals at the mouth of China's Yangtze River. They are administered as an island region of the municipality of Shanghai's Pudong New Area.

Urban Life is a bronze sculpture by French artist Val. In 2010, this monumental piece was exhibited in front of the Shanghai Art Fair and presented to the Jing'An International Sculpture Project. Another edition of the same sculpture is erected at Jingan Kerry Center in Shanghai.

Jing An Kerry Centre

Jing An Kerry Centre, or Jing'an Kerry Centre, is an integrated commercial complex situated at No. 1515 Nanjing Road West in Jing'an District, Shanghai, China. The complex comprises three skyscrapers: Towers 1,2, and 3. Tower 1 stands at 132.8 meters (436 ft) tall, Tower 2 is 260 meters (850 ft) tall, and Tower 3 is 197.8 meters (649 ft) tall. The 450,000-square-meter (4,800,000 sq ft) complex features an 86,000 m2 (930,000 sq ft) retail space, 152,000 m2 (1,640,000 sq ft) of office space, the Jing An Shangri-La, 18,000 m2 (190,000 sq ft) of residential space, and a 136,000 m2 (1,460,000 sq ft) underground car park with 1,340 parking spaces.

Enchanted Storybook Castle Castle at Shanghai Disneyland

Enchanted Storybook Castle is a castle in Shanghai Disneyland. Similarly to the Castle of Magical Dreams in Hong Kong Disneyland, it represents all of the Disney Princesses and not only one. Additionally, it is the tallest castle in all of the related Disney theme parks. It replaced Walt Disney World’s Cinderella Castle as the tallest castle in any Disney Park.
