Jiří Hodač is a Czech media manager, best known for his short tenure as Director General of Česká televize between December 2000 and January 2001, which spanned the start of the Czech TV crisis. Hodač took up his position as Director General on 20 December 2000 and resigned on 12 January 2001, citing poor health.
Hodač studied journalism at Charles University in Prague. [1] He started working for BBC Radio in 1989. [1] He worked as News Director at Česká televize, but his term lasted for less than four months; he resigned on 14 August 2000. [2] Hodač became the fourth Director General of Česká televize on 20 December 2000, [3] taking over from outgoing director Dušan Chmelíček. [1] After being taken ill in early January 2001, [4] Hodač announced his resignation for medical reasons just a few days later. [5]
Antonín Kinský is a Czech former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played club football in the Czech Republic for nine seasons, winning the national league in 2002 with FC Slovan Liberec. He subsequently moved to Russia, where he played for Saturn Ramenskoye. During his seven years in Russia, he played 200 competitive games and was recognised as the Russian Premier League's best goalkeeper in the 2007 season.

David Rath is a Czech physician, former politician who served as Minister of Health from 2005 to 2006, and convicted criminal. He was a member of the Czech Social Democratic Party (ČSSD) until 16 May 2012 when he resigned after being charged with bribery. He also served as Member of the Chamber of Deputies (MP) from 2006 to 2013, first as representative from Prague and then from Central Bohemian Region where he was Governor between 2008 and 2012.

On 24 December 2000, news programs on Česká televize (ČT) were interrupted by Jana Bobošíková, a veteran presenter at the channel and the newly appointed head of the news department, sitting next to Jiří Hodač, a former BBC employee who had been appointed general manager of ČT on 20 December.

Goat Story 2 is a 2012 Czech animated comedy feature film. Directed by Jan Tománek and produced by Art And Animation studio, it is a sequel to the 2008 film Goat Story. The film was animated by a changed team from the first film, with animators joining the project from countries including Spain, Bulgaria and India. The film was released in 2D and 3D and was rendered in in-house GPU renderer FurryBall. It also was possibly the first world feature animated movie that was rendered completely on GPU. In 2015, the producers put the movie on YouTube for free. As with the original, there are many language versions which are the original Czech, English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French, Turkish, Italian, Russian, and Hindi.
Tomáš Holeš is a Czech professional footballer who plays as a centre-back, right-back or defensive midfielder for Fortuna Liga club Slavia Prague and the Czech national team.
Monika Absolonová is a Czech singer and actress. She released her first album, Monika, in 1993. In 2002, she performed the title role in the famous Czech musical, Kleopatra, at Prague's Broadway Theatre. Absolonová performed her first solo concert in Prague's Broadway Theatre in 2010. She took part in the Czech version of Dancing with the Stars in 2010. The same year Absolonová was among the headliners for a concert in Prague's Old Town Square to support the victims of the 2010 Haiti earthquake. In 2013, she became the Czech singing voice of Elsa in Frozen.

Milan Chovanec is a Czech politician. He served as Minister of the Interior of the Czech Republic in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka from 2014 to 2017, and served as acting leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party from June 2017 to February 2018. He was also a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Czech Republic from 26 October 2013 until his resignation on 14 April 2019. Previously he served as governor of Plzeň Region between 2010 and 2014 and as a member of Plzeň City Council from 2002 until 2010.
Jiří Reynek was a Czech poet and graphic artist. Fluent in French, he translated the works of Henri Pourrat and Francis Jammes. He was the son of Suzanne Renaud and Bohuslav Reynek. Photographer Daniel Reynek was his older brother. The family spent winters in Grenoble and summers in Petrkov, where Reynek spent most of his adult life. The family farm was seized by Germany during World War II, then came under state control after Czechoslovakia transitioned to communism in the 1948 coup d'état.
Jiří Fryš is a football manager. He led RH Znojmo for four years, seeing them advance from the Moravian–Silesian Football League (MSFL) to the Second League. He led Dukla Prague during the 1992–93 Czechoslovak First League, taking over after 16 matches of the season from František Plass, with the club finishing the season in 14th place. The following season saw Dukla start with six consecutive defeats, which saw Fryš replaced by Dan Matuška. He returned to Znojmo in 1993 and spent another five years with the club. In 2001 Fryš left his position at FC Kyjov 1919 and shortly later started at SK Dolní Kounice in the MSFL. He left Dolní Kounice in autumn 2002 and took over at LeRK Prostějov in 2003.
