Joan Carreras i Goicoechea (born 1962, in Barcelona) is a Spanish journalist, screenwriter and writers in Catalan language. [1] [2] [3]
Son of Joan Carreras i Martí, he is associated lecturer in the Faculty of Communication at Blanquerna, [4] where he teaches digital journalism. He worked for a decade at the broadcasting company Corporació Catalana de Mitjans Audiovisuals, where he was director of Canal 33 and in charge of the creation of the program Info-K . At website 324.cat he has experimented with new formats and digital narratives. [5] He has also worked for several newspapers, as Avui , Diari de Barcelona and El Temps .
Cafè Barcelona (Edicions Proa) is the fifth novel by Joan Carreras. His characters often don't express what they really mean. They have secrets. They are moving between Amsterdam and Barcelona, and the blame pursues them. The writer gives them another opportunity. [6] The novel was awarded the Premi Ciutat de Barcelona at 2014. [7]
By 2014, he also received the Premi Sant Jordi de novel·la for his novel L'àguila negra. [8]

David Castillo i Buïls is a Spanish poet, writer, and literary critic. He started out as a poet with counterculture and underground publications in the 1970s, although his first published work, a declaration of principles, was the biography of Bob Dylan in 1992. Three years earlier, he had been the anthologist of Ser del segle, which brought together leading voices of the generation of the 1980s. They were followed by a series of poems among them "Game over", which won the Carles Riba Poetry Award. Then he began a career as a writer with novels like El cel de l'infern and No miris enrere, that were well accepted both by critics and the general public. El cel de l'infern was awarded the Crexells Prize for the best Catalan novel of the year in 1999. No miris enrere won the Premi Sant Jordi de novel·la of 2001. Castillo has received Atlàntida awards for journalism three times, and he has also been awarded the Italian "Tratti Poetry Prize for the best foreign poet" for his anthology of poetry translated into Italian. He has been organizing various poetic cycles. He is a founder of Poetry Week in Barcelona, and has been a director of it since 1997.

Carles Capdevila i Plandiura was a Catalan journalist and writer, director of the newspaper Ara for its first five years and from 28 November 2015 onwards founding director. He presented and directed the programmes Eduqueu les criatures in Catalunya Ràdio and Qui els va parir in TV3. He was deputy director of the program Malalts de tele. He directed the section Alguna pregunta més?, within El matí de Catalunya Ràdio. He received the humor and satire award 'Premi Pere Quart d'humor i sàtira' in 1999 for the book Criatura i companyia and in 2016 the National Prize for Communication. He died from colorectal cancer on 1 June 2017.
