Joanna King is an American politician and businesswoman serving as a member of the Indiana House of Representatives for the 49th district. She assumed office on December 21,2020.
King graduated from Northridge High School in Middlebury,Indiana. [1]
After graduating from high school,King started a pretzel business. [2] She and her husband operate the King Corporation,which includes tourism and hospitality businesses. She was an unsuccessful candidate for the Indiana Senate in 2016. [3] In 2020,she was appointed to the Indiana House of Representatives. [4] [5]

James Prather Jontz was an American politician who represented the Indiana's 5th congressional district,comprising rural north central Indiana,centering on Kokomo and Logansport. A Democrat,he served in the United States House of Representatives from 1987 to 1993. He was previously a member of the Indiana General Assembly.
