Jody Deshawn Owens (born September 12, 1990) is an American college football coach. He is the assistant head football coach and linebackers coach for Montana State University, a position he has held since 2025. [1] [2] He was the interim head football coach for St. Augustine's University in 2023. [3] He also coached for Community High School, L. D. Bell High School, Montana State, [4] Nevada, Washington, Briar Cliff, [5] Pittsburg State, [6] [7] and the Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears, and Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). [8] [9] He played college football for Montana State as a linebacker. [10]
