Joe Blandino (born September 13, 1992), is a Dominican singer-songwriter and musician. Blandino has released two studio albums. [1] [2] [3] He gained a following in the television shows Cantale una bachata a Mama [4] and posting song covers on social media.

While growing up in Santo Domingo, he sang in many renowned musical groups like Arpa Evangelica [5] [6] [7] [8] as a tenor, participated in the television shows Cantale una bachata a Mama [4] and toured universities in the Dominican Republic which made him a local celebrity in his hometown from a young age.
His first studio album, Gente Normal, [1] [2] [3] [9] was recorded in 2019 and marked the beginning of collaborations with Gustavo Galindo a Grammy Nominated Singer-Songwriter and actor and the Mexican singer Andrés Obregón. [1] [2] [10] Gente Normal was produced in the cities of Miami, Mexico City and Santo Domingo and was mixed and mastered by the two times Latin Grammy Winner Thomas Juth in Sweden and London. [9]
Raulín Marte Rodríguez is a Dominican bachata artist. He is one of the first major bachata artists to have international success. As a pioneer of the bachata genre, he helped grow the genre's popularity in the 1990s. While traditional bachata songs were often risque and suggestive, Raulín Rodríguez's idealized romantic lyrics widened the appeal of the genre of bachata, helping it get regular radio play. Rodriguez is known as "El Cacique" and is one of the most established musicians to ever come from the Dominican Republic. He has many international hits, including the songs: "Nereyda", "Medicina de Amor", "Soledad", Esta Noche, and many more. Three of them have been certified Platinum in the United States by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
Domingo Antonio Santos Muñoz, known professionally as Antony Santos, is a Dominican musician and singer. One of the top-selling bachata artists of all time, he is known as one of the pioneers of modern bachata in the early 1990s, with his role in redefining the genre to include romantic lyrics, poppy guitar licks, and implementation of new instruments, such as the piano and saxophone. He became the first rural bachatero to reach a mainstream audience with his hit single, "Voy Pa'lla". He has had success with other hits like "Por Mi Timidez", "No Te Puedo Olvidar", "Me Quiero Morir", "Lloro", "Solo Te Amo", "Se Acabó El Abuso", among others. Today, Santos is unanimously considered the greatest bachata artist of all time. He is known as "El Mayimbe" of Bachata, and is the second Dominican musician to acquire this moniker, after Fernando Villalona. He is also known as El Bachatú, the nickname he originally started with.
Estadio Quisqueya Juan Marichal is a baseball stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. It is the only stadium in the Caribbean region to host two different baseball teams, Tigres del Licey and Leones del Escogido. Its field dimensions are 335 feet (102 m) at the foul poles, 383 feet (117 m) at the power alleys, and 411 feet (125 m) at center field. The seating capacity is 14,469. The Dominican League of Baseball Authority is in charge of its management.
The Palacio de los Deportes Virgilio Travieso Soto is an 8,337-seat multi-purpose arena in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, built in 1974 for the XII Central American and Caribbean Games. It currently hosts local sporting events and concerts and held the basketball games during the 2003 Pan American Games. It is known as "La Media Naranja" for its characteristic orange roof. The arena is also used in the Miss Dominican Republic Pageant. It also hosted games from the 2010 World Youth Women's Handball Championship.
Ramón Orlando Valoy García, is a Dominican musician, singer, arranger, composer, record producer and songwriter, besides being a gran maestro pianist in Caribbean rhythms. Ramón Orlando received seven Casandra awards in the 1992 ceremony, including the Soberano, which is the most important category in the Dominican awards ceremony. In 2005, he was nominated for the Latin Grammy Award in the Best Merengue Album category.
Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium is an open-air multi-purpose stadium in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. Opened in 1974 for the XII Central American & Caribbean Games and renovated 2003 Pan American Games is the largest stadium in the Dominican Republic used mostly for football and track and field and as a music venue. The stadium has a sporting events' capacity of 27,000 people, though it has seen crowds of 35,000. For concerts, its stated capacity is 50,000 people.
La Introducción is the debut album of Bachata duo Carlos & Alejandra. It was released in 2009 by Machete Music and Universal Music Latin Entertainment. The album was nominated for Tropical Album of the Year at the Premios Lo Nuestro 2010 Awards. In 2010 the duo released an extended edition titled La Introducción...Continued. Written and produced by Juan Luis Guerra, the album contains eleven tracks and encompasses a variety of tropical genres, such as bachata, merengue, salsa and son along with influences from jazz, gospel, rock and Dominican folk music. The album was co-produced by Guerra's longtime collaboration and musical director Janina Rosado. It has lyrics about romance, love, nostalgia, moving on and protest against corruption.

La Travesia World Tour is the world tour by the Dominican superstar Juan Luis Guerra Tour promote his 10th studio album La Llave de Mi Corazón. It was his longest tour at the time and consisted in six legs, 54 shows and visited United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia, where his made his debut in Japan. Also, it was his biggest international tour in more than a decade, marking his first time in many years that he performed in countries such as Ecuador, Paraguay and Costa Rica since the Bachata Rosa World Tour (1991-92). The tour kick off on July 12, 2008, and ended on December 5, 2009, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
