Joe Fattorini (born 5 September 1969) is a British radio and television presenter and wine expert.

Fattorini wrote a weekly wine column for The Herald for over fourteen years. [1] He has also contributed to Harper's Wine and Spirit, [2] The Independent, [3] and The Buyer. [4]

Television and radio

Fattorini has presented a number of radio and television programmes for the BBC, including Joe's Diner and It's Your Money. [5]

In 2016, Fattorini presented ITV's The Wine Show with Matthew Goode and Matthew Rhys. Stephen Heritage of The Guardian praised Fattorini as 'a revelation, arguably the Attenborough of Oddbins.' [6]

The Pulteney Distillery is a malt whisky production and aging facility in the Pulteneytown area of Wick, Caithness, in the Highland area of Scotland. The distillery produces the Old Pulteney single malt whisky at a number of ages and has a visitor centre in Huddart Street.

Speyburn Distillery in Rothes, Moray, Scotland, was founded in 1897 by John Hopkins & Company for the sum of £17,000. The site was chosen by John Hopkins himself for its unpolluted water supply from the Granty Burn, a minor tributary of the River Spey. Hopkins appointed the famous distillery architect Charles C Doig to design the distillery and to this day Speyburn has its classic pagoda ventilator, a hallmark of Doig's design.

Cooley Distillery Whiskey distillery, County Louth, Ireland

Cooley Distillery is an Irish whiskey distillery on the Cooley Peninsula in County Louth, Ireland. The distillery was converted in 1987 from an older potato alcohol plant by entrepreneur John Teeling. On 16 December 2011 Beam Inc. announced plans to purchase Cooley for around US$95 million (€71 million); the deal closed a month later, and the distillery now belongs to Beam Suntory since Suntory bought Beam in 2014.

The International Wine & Spirit Competition is an annual wine and spirit competition founded in 1969 by the German/British oenologist Anton Massel. Each year the competition receives entries from over 90 countries worldwide. The awards given by the competition are considered as high honors in the industry. Kyrö Distillery Company Finnish rye producer

Kyrö Distillery Company is a Finnish rye distillery founded in a sauna in 2012. Kyrö uses 100 percent Finnish rye to produce rye gin and rye whisky. In 2015, Kyrö Napue Gin, formerly known as Napue, won the Best Gin for Gin & Tonic category in the International Wine and Spirit competition. In August 2020 Kyrö launched its rye whisky, Kyrö Malt. To support health care workers during COVID-19, Kyrö started producing hand sanitizer. Through the sales of the hand sanitizer, the company managed to avoid lay-offs, and they have continued in the production.

Jaega Wise is an English beer brewer, campaigner, broadcaster and author. Born in London and raised in Nottingham, she is the head brewer and co-founder of London-based Wild Card Brewery and in 2018 was named "Brewer of the Year" by the British Guild of Beer Writers. Before becoming a brewer, she studied chemical engineering and worked as a chemicals trader. Alongside brewing, Wise campaigns on various issues within the beer and wider drinks industries, including sexism, race and disability.
