Joe Kittell is an American college basketball coach, formerly the head coach for the University of Mary Marauders.

A native of Garrison, North Dakota, Kittell began his coaching career as a student assistant at North Dakota State University from 2002 to 2006. He was then hired at Mayville State University and spent only one season there before leaving for the North Dakota State College of Science, but again was only there for one season. From there, he went to Breckenridge High School (Minnesota) where he was the assistant boys' basketball coach. While there he also directed Every Child's Important (ECI) Youth Services, a non-profit organization that runs summer traveling basketball teams in South Dakota, North Dakota, and Minnesota. [1] [2]

During the 2009–10 season, Kittell was the a video coordinator at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado. Afterwards, he was hired as an assistant coach at Gillette College for three years. [3]

In 2013, Kittell was hired to his first head coaching job at Lake Region State College in Devils Lake, North Dakota. During his two seasons there, he led the Royals to a record of 42–20. [4]

Kittell was hired as the head coach of the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota on April 16, 2015. [5]

After the 2020-21 season, Kittell stepped down as the head coach of the Marauders and was replaced by Jack Nelson. [6]

In 2017, Kittell was named as the Samaritan's Feet Coach of the Year. [7]

Dale Lennon is American former college football coach and athletics administrator. He served as the head football coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota from 1997 to 1998, the University of North Dakota from 1999 to 2007, and the Southern Illinois University Carbondale from 2007 to 2015, compiling a career record of 153–75. Lennon led the 2001 North Dakota Fighting Sioux football team to an NCAA Division II Football Championship. His record was 90–24 in nine seasons as the head coach of the North Dakota Fighting Sioux and he is the program's all-time winningest coach. In May 2017, Lennon returned to the University of Mary as the school's athletic director. He left University of Mary in 2022 to become the executive director of the State Historical Society Foundation of North Dakota.

Richard Alexander Glas is an American basketball coach who was most recently the head men's basketball coach at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. In a coaching career that spanned 1970 to 2017, Glas had various assistant and head coaching positions in college basketball and was head coach at Minnesota Morris from 1974 to 1979, Willamette from 1979 to 1984, North Dakota from 1988 to 2006, and Concordia from 2008 to 2017.

Darrell E. Mudra Sr., nicknamed "Dr. Victory", was an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Adams State College (1959–1962), North Dakota State University (1963–1965), the University of Arizona (1967–1968), Western Illinois University (1969–1973), Florida State University (1974–1975), Eastern Illinois University (1978–1982), and the University of Northern Iowa (1983–1987), compiling a career college football record of 200–81–4. Mudra was also the head coach of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League (CFL) for one season in 1966. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2000.

As of November 11, 2019, the University of Mary has discontinued their men's soccer program after 25 seasons of playing in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference.

Craig Francis Smith is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach for the Utah Utes men's team of the Pac-12 Conference. A member of Tim Miles' coaching tree, Smith served as an assistant for Miles at four schools – Mayville State, North Dakota State, Colorado State, and Nebraska. Smith was also the head coach at Mayville State from 2004 to 2007, at South Dakota from 2014 to 2018, and at Utah State from 2018 to 2021.

Josh Kotelnicki is a former American football coach. He served as the head football coach at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota from 2014 to 2017, compiling a record of 8–36. Kotelnicki was fired after three consecutive 1–10 seasons and replaced by Craig Bagnell. A native of Litchfield, Minnesota, Kotelnicki played college football at the University of North Dakota, where he was a starting outside linebacker on the 2001 North Dakota Fighting Sioux football team, which won the NCAA Division II Football Championship.

Paul Sather is an American college basketball coach, currently head men's basketball coach at the University of North Dakota.

Craig Bagnell is an American football coach. He is the wide receivers coach for the South Dakota Coyotes football team; a position he has held since 2023. He was the head coach for the Mary Marauders football team from 2018 to 2022. He also coached for Bemidji State. He played college football for Mary as a quarterback.
