Joseph Masiga (commonly known as Joe Masiga and JJ Masiga) is a former international Kenyan footballer and rugby player. Masiga played club football for the AFC Leopards, a team with roots in western Kenya. [1] Masiga retired from active sports and is now a dentist in Nairobi. [2]
A black panther is the melanistic colour variant of the leopard and the jaguar. Black panthers of both species have excess black pigments, but their typical rosettes are also present. They have been documented mostly in tropical forests, with black leopards in Africa and Asia, and black jaguars in South America. Melanism is caused by a recessive allele in the leopard, and by a dominant allele in the jaguar.
Mumias Sports Complex is a multi-use stadium in Mumias, Kenya. It is used mostly for football matches and was the home stadium of the defunct Mumias Sugar F.C. The stadium holds 10,000 people. This was one of the venues for the 2009 CECAFA Cup held in Kenya between 28 November and 12 December 2009. For the 2011 season and following a big money sponsorship deal by the Mumias Sugar company, local giants AFC Leopards SC, popularly known as Ingwe, will use both the Nyayo national stadium and the Mumias sports complex as their home ground. The first match to be played by Ingwe at the Mumias Sports Complex in the 2011 season was against Karuturi sports which Ingwe won 1–0. Notably, the AFC Leopards VS Gor Mahia tie which had earlier been scheduled for the Moi International Sports Center Kasarani (MISC) on June 5 will be played at the Mumias Sports Complex
Tusker FC is a professional football club based in Nairobi, Kenya. It is the second most successful club in Kenya with thirteen Kenyan league championships. They also have four Kenyan cup titles. In addition, it has won four East African CECAFA Clubs Cup titles.
