Joseph Palka (born July 9, 1964) is an American college football coach. He is the head football coach for Adrian College, a position he has held since 2024. [1] [2] He was the head football coach for Summerfield High School from 1988 to 1989; Central Catholic High School from 1990 to 1993; [3] Saint Joseph's College in Collegeville, Indiana, in 1995; Bryan High School from 1996 to 1997, Whitmer High School from 2006 to 2012, [4] and Saline High School from 2013 to 2023. [5] He also coached for Montpelier High School and Eastern Michigan. [6] He played college football for Grand Valley State and Eastern Michigan as a linebacker.

Glenn Emery "Press" Presnell was an American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He set the NFL single-season scoring record in 1933 and led the league in total offense. He was the last surviving member of the Detroit Lions inaugural 1934 team and helped lead the team to its first NFL championship in 1935. He also set an NFL record with a 54-yard field goal in 1934, a record which was not broken for 19 years. Presnell served as the head football coach at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1942 and at Eastern Kentucky State College—now known as Eastern Kentucky University–from 1954 to 1963, compiling a career college football coaching record of 45–56–3. He was also the athletic director at Eastern Kentucky from 1963 to 1971.

James Joseph Harbaugh is an American football coach and former quarterback who is the 20th and current head football coach of the Michigan Wolverines. He played college football at Michigan from 1983 to 1986. He played in the National Football League (NFL) for 14 seasons from 1987 to 2000 with his longest tenure as a player with the Chicago Bears. He served as the head coach of the San Diego Toreros (2004–2006), the Stanford Cardinal (2007–2010), and the NFL's San Francisco 49ers (2011–2014). In 2015, Harbaugh returned to coach his alma mater, the University of Michigan, where he won the College Football Playoff National Championship in 2024.

Gary Oscar Moeller was an American football coach best known for being head coach at the University of Michigan from 1990 to 1994. During his five seasons at Michigan, he won 44 games, lost 13 and tied 3 for a winning percentage of .758. In Big Ten Conference play, his teams won 30 games, lost 8, and tied 2 for a winning percentage of .775, and won or shared conference titles in 1990, 1991 and 1992. He left Michigan in 1995 following a drunken incident. Moeller also coached in professional football and was the head coach of the Detroit Lions for part of the 2000 season. He was the father of former Cleveland Browns offensive line coach Andy Moeller.
