Joseph Edward Rodwell-Grant (born 18 October 2002) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for the EFL League One club Wigan Athletic.
Rodwell-Grant was born in Haslingden, Lancashire and grew up in Rossendale with his mother. [2] He joined the youth academy of Preston North End at the age of 11, after he was picked up playing junior football in East Lancashire. [2] In 2020, he went on successive loans with non-league sides Chorley and Bamber Bridge. [3] He signed his first professional contract with the club on 12 May 2021. [4] He made his professional debut with Preston North End in a 3–0 EFL Cup win over Mansfield Town on 10 August 2021. [5] He was released by the club at the end of the 2021–22 season. [6]
On 29 July 2022, he signed a contract with Wigan Athletic after a successful trial period. [7] In September 2022, he joined FC United of Manchester on loan before returning to the club in October. [8]

Preston North End Football Club, commonly referred to as Preston, North End or PNE, is a professional football club in Preston, Lancashire, England. They currently play in the EFL Championship, the second tier of the English football league system. Originally a cricket club, Preston has been based at Deepdale since 1875. The club first took up football in 1878 as a winter fitness activity and decided to focus on it in May 1880, when the football club was officially founded. Deepdale is now football's oldest ground in terms of continuous use by a league club.
