Johannes Jacobus Neeskens is a Dutch football manager and former player. A midfielder, he was an important member of the Netherlands national team that finished as runners-up in the 1974 and 1978 FIFA World Cups and is considered one of the greatest midfielders of all time. In 2004, he was named one of the 125 Greatest Living Footballers at a FIFA Awards Ceremony, while in 2017 he has been included in the FourFourTwo list of the 100 all-time greatest players, at the 64th position.
Joe Beasman Hall was an American college basketball coach. He was the head coach at the University of Kentucky from 1972 to 1985, leading the Wildcats to a national championship in 1978.
John Vincent Calipari is an American basketball coach who is the head coach at the University of Arkansas. He was the head coach at the University of Kentucky from 2009 until the end of the 2023–2024 season, which he led to one NCAA National Championship in 2012. He has been named Naismith College Coach of the Year three times, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2015.
Clifford Oldham Hagan is an American former professional basketball player. A 6′ 4″ forward who excelled with the hook shot, Hagan, nicknamed "Li’l Abner", played his entire 10-year NBA career (1956–1966) with the St. Louis Hawks. He was also a player-coach for the Dallas Chaparrals in the first two-plus years of the American Basketball Association's existence (1967–1970). Hagan is a five-time NBA All-Star and an ABA All-Star. He won an NCAA basketball championship in 1951 as a member of the Kentucky Wildcats, and he won an NBA championship with the Hawks in 1958.
KSMB was a Swedish punk rock band from 1977 to 1982. The band became associated with the slogan "KSMB = vrålrock", which they used to advertise their music in the subways of Stockholm. KSMB released two studio albums and a live album on the Swedish label MNW, before breaking up in 1982. KSMB has reunited and released three additional studio albums in 1993, 2017, and 2023. Their music was featured in the 2013 movie We Are the Best!.

Mark Thomas Stoops is an American college football coach and former player. He is the head football coach at the University of Kentucky, a position he has held since the 2013 season. Stoops is the all-time winningest head coach in the history of the Kentucky Wildcats football program. He is also the longest tenured SEC football coach.

Because of the far-reaching impact of his playing style and his coaching ideas, he is widely regarded as one of the most influential figures in modern football, and he is also regarded as one of the greatest managers of all time.

The Conference USA Men's Soccer Player of the Year was an annual award given to the best overall player in Conference USA (C-USA) during the NCAA Division I men's soccer season. From C-USA's formation in 1995 until the conference dissolved its men's soccer league after the 2021 season, the Conference awarded the season's best offensive player with Offensive Player of the Year and the best defensive player with the Defensive Player of the Year. Starting in 2009, the additional Player of the Year award was created to recognize the best overall player.
The Conference USA Men's Soccer Coach of the Year was an annual award given to the best soccer coach in Conference USA during the NCAA Division I men's soccer season. He served as the head football coach at Kentucky Wesleyan College, when its campus was located in Winchester, Kentucky, from 1928 to 1930, compiling a record of 13–11–3. Van Winkle was also the head basketball coach, head baseball coach, and athletic director at Kentucky Wesleyan.
