Politics of Namibia takes place in a framework of a semi-presidential representative democratic republic, whereby the President of Namibia is both head of state and head of government, and of a pluriform multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by both the president and the government. Legislative power is vested in the two chambers of Parliament. The judiciary is independent of the executive and the legislature.
Kavango was one of the thirteen regions of Namibia until it was split into the Kavango East and Kavango West Regions in 2013. Its capital was Rundu.
Otjozondjupa is one of the fourteen regions of Namibia. Its capital is Otjiwarongo. The region further contains the municipalities of Okahandja and Grootfontein and the towns Okakarara and Otavi. As of 2020, Otjozondjupa had 97,945 registered voters.
ǃKungKUUNG (ǃXun), also known as Ju, is a dialect continuum spoken in Namibia, Botswana, and Angola by the ǃKung people, constituting two or three languages. Together with the ǂʼAmkoe language, ǃKung forms the Kxʼa language family. ǃKung constituted one of the branches of the putative Khoisan language family, and was called Northern Khoisan in that scenario, but the unity of Khoisan has never been demonstrated and is now regarded as spurious. Nonetheless, the anthropological term "Khoisan" has been retained as an umbrella term for click languages in general.
Libertina Inaviposa Amathila is a Namibian physician and politician. She served as a member of the National Council and the National Assembly, and was the Deputy-Prime Minister of Namibia from March 2005 to March 2010.
John Mutorwa is a Namibian politician and currently a deputy prime minister and Minister of Works and Transport. A member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO), Mutorwa has served in the National Assembly of Namibia as well as the cabinet since 1992.
Petrina Namutenya Haingura is a Namibian politician. Haingura is a member of SWAPO, and she holds a seat in the National Assembly of Namibia since 2005. She grew up in a SWAPO-supporting household and has been a part of the movement since 1980. At the time of her election to the National Assembly, Haingura was chosen as the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services. She has also been involved in the SWAPO Party Women's Council.
Mpungu is a constituency in the Kavango West region of Namibia. It had a population of 20,787 in 2011, up from 18,660 in 2001, and 9,121 registered voters in 2020, up from 8,924 in 2004.
Mukwe is a constituency in the Kavango East region of Namibia. The district centre is the settlement of Mukwe. It had a population of 27,690 in 2011, up from 27,250 in 2001. The constituency contains the major settlements of Bagani, Kangongo and Divundu, and a number of small populated places such as Andara and Diyogha. As of 2020 the constituency had 16,678 registered voters.
Rundu Urban is an electoral constituency in the Kavango East region of Namibia. It covers the urban area of Rundu, the region's capital and one of Namibia's largest cities. The constituency also covers parts of the Sauyemwa, Safari, Tutungeni, Katutura, Donkerhoek and Kehemu neighborhoods. It had a population of 20,953 in 2011, up from 19,173 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 35,740 registered voters.

The region was created in 2013 when the Kavango Region was split into Kavango East and Kavango West. The only self-governing settlements in Kavango East are the capital Rundu and the village of Divundu.
Rundu Rural is an electoral constituency in the Kavango East Region of Namibia. It comprises the area east of Rundu, one of Namibia's largest cities. It had a population of 22,538 in 2011, up from 18,250 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 6,060 registered voters.
Ncuncuni is a constituency in the Kavango West region of Namibia. It is located west of Rundu, one of Namibia's largest cities. It had a population of 38,281 in 2011, up from 26,623 in 2001. As of 2020 the constituency had 4,554 registered voters.
Sirkka Namutenya Anneli Mwahafa Ausiku is a Namibian administrator and politician. She is the governor of Kavango West Region since 2014.
Julius Hamunyera Hambyuka is a Namibian politician who has served as a Member of the National Assembly of Namibia since March 2015. A member of the ruling SWAPO party, he was appointed the Government Chief Whip of the National Assembly in March 2020.
Faustina Namutenya Caley is a Namibian politician. A member of SWAPO, Caley joined parliament in 2015 and was appointed deputy Minister of Education, Arts and Culture in 2020.
Annakletha Mpande Sikerete is a Namibian politician who was a member of the Namibia Parliament-National Assembly for the 2015–2020 term. She was born on July 6, 1968, in Rundu, Kavango East Region.
Rev. Heikki Hausiku Ausiku (1944) is a Namibian politician who served as the Ambassador to Cuba (1991–1999). He is a member of South West Africa People's Organisation (SWAPO) party and was a member of the National Assembly of Namibia from 1989 to 1990. He was the former mayor of Nkurenkuru. He also served as a traditional councilor at Kwangali Traditional Authority in 2010. He was appointed as the special advisor to Sirkka Ausiku in 2014.
