Johannah Leddy Donovan (born September 18, 1944) is an American educator and politician.
Born in Burlington, Vermont, Donovan graduated from Rice Memorial High School and then received her bachelor's degree from Trinity College in Burlington, Vermont. Donovan was the widow of Thomas Donovan and taught school for Vermont Adult Learning. Donovan has served in the Vermont House of Representatives since 2001 and is a Democrat. [1] [2]
Her father Bernard Joseph Leddy served as Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Vermont. Her brother James P. Leddy was a member of the Vermont State Senate. Her son T.J. Donovan was elected as Vermont Attorney General in 2016, having previously served as State's Attorney of Chittenden County since 2007.

Rice Memorial High School is a coeducational Roman Catholic secondary and college preparatory school in South Burlington, Vermont. It is located in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Burlington. The student body is mostly drawn from Northern and Central Vermont but includes other students including international students. The school and buildings were named for Bishop Joseph Rice who had established Cathedral High School in 1917.

The Chittenden-3-5 Representative District is a two-member state Representative district in the U.S. state of Vermont. It is one of the 108 one or two member districts into which the state was divided by the redistricting and reapportionment plan developed by the Vermont General Assembly following the 2000 U.S. Census. The plan applies to legislatures elected in 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, and 2010. A new plan will be developed in 2012 following the 2010 U.S. Census.
William H. Sorrell is an American politician. He is the longest-serving attorney general in the history of the U.S. state of Vermont, holding the position for 20 years. Originally appointed by Governor Howard Dean in 1997, he was reelected nine times: in 1998, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, and 2014. During his last election, he defeated primary challenger TJ Donovan by a very narrow margin. He did not run for re-election in 2016, and was succeeded by Donovan in January 2017.
Susan Lyn "Suzi" Wizowaty is an American writer and politician from Burlington, Vermont. A Democrat, she was a member of the Vermont House of Representatives, representing the Chittenden-6-5 district in Burlington from 2009 to 2015. First elected in 2008, she did not run for re-election in 2014.

Anne de la Blanchetai Donahue is an American politician from the state of Vermont. She has served as a Republican member of the Vermont House of Representatives since 2003, representing the Washington-1 district, which includes the Washington County towns of Berlin and Northfield. Donohue represented Washington-2 until 2013, when she was redistricted. She is also editor of Counterpoint, a quarterly mental health publication distributed for free throughout Vermont.

Susanne Young, appointed by Governor Phil Scott to fill the vacancy left by Donovan, is not running for a full term, and Vermont Republicans nominated Mike Tagliavia to run against Charity Clark, the Democratic candidate.

Charity Rae Clark is an American lawyer and politician from Vermont. A member of the Democratic Party, she has served as Vermont Attorney General since January 2023.
