Johanne Berry CM is a Canadian businesswoman. She is the founder of Tele-Ressources Staffing Services Ltd, an employment agency established in 1985 and headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
Berry was born in Venise-en-Québec, Canada to an entrepreneur father. [1] In high school, she worked as a secretary at Bell Canada before joining the Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games. As she grew older, she ran her own clothing store in her parents' garage before being recruited by an investment firm at the age of 23. [1]
Eventually growing bored at the investment firm, Berry decided to open her own agency in 1985. [2] She sold her home and car to fund a 1200 square foot sub-let as she began to establish Télé-Ressources. [3] By 1996, Tele-Ressources Staffing Services Ltd became the first Montreal recruiting agency to obtain a ISO 9000 certification. [4] As a result, she received the Women of Distinction Award from YWCA of Montreal [5] and later earned the Mercuriades Company of the Year award. [3]
In 2010, Berry received the Association of Canadian Search, Employment & Staffing Services Award of Excellence. [6] Three years later, she was honoured with the prix Réalisations by the Réseau des femmes d’affaires du Québec in collaboration with Les Affaires. [7] In 2014, Berry was elected a member of the Conseil du patronat du Québec Club entrepreneurs. [8] Berry became an Member of the Order of Canada in 2016. [9]

Françoise Bertrand, is a Canadian business personality. She is the first woman to head a North American television network, as CEO and president of Télé Québec, and the first woman to serve as chairperson of the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC), a position she held from 1996 to 2001. Bertrand was inducted into the National Order of Quebec in 2008 and appointed an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2013. She has served as president and CEO of Fédération des chambres de commerce du Québec from 2003 to 2016, the first woman to hold the position. She is currently the first woman to serve as Chairperson of the Board of Directors of VIA Rail Canada Inc., a position she has held since April 2017.
Claire Bonenfant was a Canadian politician and champion of feminist rights. A Chevalier of the Ordre national du Québec, Bonenfant was president of the Quebec Status of Women Council. The University of Laval's "Claire Bonenfant Chair in Women's Studies" is named in her honour.
Claudine Bertrand is a Quebec educator and poet.
Idola Saint-Jean was a Quebec journalist, educator and feminist. She devoted her life to the pursuit of equal rights for women in Quebec and her efforts lead to women being given the right to vote in Quebec in 1940.

Marchand de feuilles is an award-winning independent Canadian publishing house, founded in 2000 by Mélanie Vincelette, of whom it has been written, "She is an entrepreneurial and creative maverick." Headquartered in Old Montreal, Marchand de feuilles publishes a selection of books in French, which are distributed by Hachette Canada. The recipient of dozens of awards for its contributions to literature and publishing Marchand de feuilles ha published more than one hundred authors, poets and historians. The company's archives, including rare material from its founding and its early history, are held in the Youville Stables.
Mira Falardeau is a French Canadian historian, professor, and author of comic strips. Falardeau has devoted works to Québec animated films, Québec comic strips and caricatures in Québec, focusing on visual humour in all its forms. She taught as a professor of cinema and communication at Laval University and the University of Ottawa. Falardeau has also curated exhibitions in the visual arts and operated a small publishing house.
Léonie Couture is a Canadian feminist activist. She is the founder and director of Herstreet, an organization designed to help homeless women, mainly in the Montreal area.

Sophie Bissonnette is a French-Canadian director, editor, writer, and producer in the Quebecois film industry. After graduating from Queen's University, she began creating films in Montreal. She released most of her documentary films in the 1980s. In these films, Bissonnette illustrated social and political justices, both of which were topics that were covered commonly by many Quebecois filmmakers. However, her films were distinguishable through exploring the women's perspective of male-dominated social engagements and incidents in French Canada.
Micheline Bouchard is a Canadian engineer. In 2000, Bouchard became the first woman to serve as president of the Canadian Academy of Engineering. She was an engineer for Hydro-Québec.
Amina Gerba is a Cameroonian-Canadian businesswoman and entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Afrique Expansion, Afrique Expansion Forum, and Afrique Expansion magazine. She also founded the beauty care brands Kariliss and Kariderm–the latter being the world's first shea butter product to earn organic certification. In 2014, she was a recipient of the National Order of Quebec. She is a director for the Canadian Council on Africa, African Business Roundtable, and Fonds Afro-Entrepreneurs, and is the president of the board of directors for Entreprendre Ici.
Joséphine Bacon, is an Innu poet from Pessamit in Quebec. She publishes in French and Innu-aimun. She has also worked as a translator, community researcher, documentary filmmaker, curator and as a songwriter for Chloé Sainte-Marie and Alexandre Belliard. She has also curated an exhibit at the Grande Bibliothèque in Montreal, Quebec and teaches at Kiuna Institution in Odanak.
