John Bishop: In Conversation With... is a British talk show hosted by comedian and actor John Bishop. It first aired on British television channel W on the 1st September 2016.

Contents

The second series of 10 episodes aired from 16 March 2017 [1] and the third series began on 14 September 2017.[ citation needed ] A fourth series was commissioned in November 2017 and began on 5 July 2018. [2]

Format

The series features Bishop meeting with a celebrity guest and having an intimate conversation with them in front of a live studio audience.

Production

The show is filmed at The Hospital Club in London.

The series was commissioned on 1 March 2016. [3] A further three series of the show have been made. [4]

<i>Taskmaster</i> (TV series) British comedy panel game show

Taskmaster is a British comedy panel game show created by comedian and musician Alex Horne and presented by both Horne and Greg Davies. In the programme a group of five celebrities – mainly comedians – attempt to complete a series of challenges, with Horne acting as umpire in each challenge and Davies, the titular "Taskmaster", judging the work and awarding points based on contestants' performances. The concept for the programme was first created by Horne for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2010; he later secured a deal with Dave to adapt it for television with the first episode premiering in 2015. After the ninth series in 2019, the programme was acquired by Channel 4. Harry Hill's Alien Fun Capsule is a British television comedy panel show created, written and presented by Harry Hill and produced by his company Nit Television for ITV. The series began on 2 March 2017 and follows Hill and a group of celebrity guest panelists trying to find funny things to convince an alien invasion that the earth is worth saving. A second series began on 14 April 2018. A third series of the show was commissioned by ITV and started on 8 June 2019. On 4 February 2020, it was confirmed that ITV had cancelled the programme.

The Horne Section is a British musical comedy band, appearing sporadically on radio, television, podcast, and stage. Led by frontman and comedian Alex Horne, the band mix music with comedy and specialise in comedy/spoof songs as well as performing a wide variety of genres including jazz. The band is made up of professional musicians, including two childhood friends of Horne, and first performed together in May 2010, with the current line-up finalised during 2012. Jon Richardson: Ultimate Worrier is a British panel show broadcast on Dave. The first series premiered on 16 May 2018. In the show Jon Richardson and the panel talk about and rank worries in order of severity in the Worry Index. Worries are categorised as either a low, moderate or severe worry. Rosie Jones is a British comedian, writer and actress. After starting her career as a writer on panel shows, she went on to appear as a guest on The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, QI and Hypothetical. She attended the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo as a roving reporter for The Last Leg.

<i>Hypothetical</i> (TV series) British TV series or programme

Hypothetical is a British television comedy panel show created by British comedian Josh Widdicombe, with Tom Craine and Matthew Crosby. Widdicombe hosts the show alongside fellow comedian James Acaster. The TV series features teams of celebrity guests, who are presented with a bizarre hypothetical situation by Widdicombe. The guests must explain how they would deal with the situation, following the rules given by Acaster, who then awards points based on how well he thinks they have done. The show ran for four series, from 6 February 2019 to 6 July 2022.
