John Calarco (Johnny Cee) (born April 26, 1966) is an American musician from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. [1] Calarco was drummer for many Milwaukee area bands. He also co-wrote and performed in several songs on the very successful Willy Porter album Dog Eared Dream [2] and toured with Porter as his drummer. [3] [4] He has made an impact as a touring performer, band member, recording artist, session musician and song writer/producer. [5]
Calarco has been a drummer in many bands in the Midwestern United States. [3] [5] He played drums for Big Bang Theory, Tony Brown, Greg Koch and the Tone Controls and the Willy Porter Band. [6] From 1992 to 1997 Calarco played drums with the (three piece) Willy Porter band [7] which included Steve Kleiber, (bass guitar). [8] The band toured the United States with The Cranberries and Toad the Wet Sprocket performing the Willy Porter album. [9] [10]
As a form of anger management during the COVID-19 epidemic, he wrote a sardonic song about the never ending quest to find toilet paper [1] In Toilet Paper Hunt he sings:
"Now I stare at empty shelves
Because of people only worried about themselves
I’m just sitting pumping gas
Wonderin’ how I’m gonna wipe my ass." [1] [11]

Calarco was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He began playing drums when he was ten years old. [6] He has two sons: Anthony and Michael. [3]
Wisconsin was settled largely by European immigrants in the late 19th century. This immigration led to the popularization of galops, schottisches, waltzes, and, especially, polkas. Classical composers and conductors from Wisconsin include Hans Balatka, Hugo Kaun, Eugene Luening, Theodore Steinmetz and Sarge Boyd. Among Wisconsin's contributions to rock music were Les Paul, an electric guitar pioneer known as the "Wizard of Waukesha". The Steve Miller Band, with Milwaukee's Steve Miller, had three #1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 from 1973 to 1982. The Chordettes from Sheboygan, Bon Iver from Eau Claire, and Garbage from Madison all had albums on the Billboard 200.
Six of the Best was a reunion concert between the rock band Genesis, their original lead singer Peter Gabriel and former guitarist Steve Hackett. It took place on a wet Saturday, 2 October 1982, at the National Bowl in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, England. Genesis were introduced on to the stage by Jonathan King, who discovered and christened the band fifteen years earlier. The support bands were John Martyn, The Blues Band and Talk Talk.

A Hot Night in Paris is the only album by the Phil Collins Big Band, released in 1999 by Atlantic Records. Fronted by Genesis lead singer/drummer Phil Collins, the album did not contain any singing. Koch Marshall Trio is a three piece band which formed in 2017 in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The band consists of a guitar player, a drummer and a B3 organ player. The guitar player is Greg Koch who grew up in the Milwaukee area of Wisconsin. The drummer in the band is Dylan Koch. The B3 organ player is Toby Lee Marshall, from Minneapolis, Minnesota.
