John Ennis is an American actor. He was a cast member on Netflix's W/ Bob & David and on HBO's Mr. Show with Bob and David . [1] Other roles include Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story , Zodiac , and the revival of Twin Peaks .
Raised in Wellesley and Needham, Massachusetts, Ennis graduated from Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood, Massachusetts, and received a bachelor's degree from Emerson College. [2]
Ennis has played roles in Malcolm in the Middle , Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny , and Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story . He played a writer for the fictitious comedy show at the center of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip . He also played a part in the YouTube channel RocketJump's Video Game High School as Kimberly Swan's father Kenneth Swan. In 2007, Ennis took a small part in the film Zodiac as Terry Pascoe, protégé of the handwriting expert Sherwood Morrill.
In July 2006, Ennis joined with musician and filmmaker Andrew Jon Thomson to form a cowboy harmony western comedy musical group named Saddle Pals, in the spirit of 1930s movie singing cowboy groups such as Sons of the Pioneers and contemporaries such as Riders in the Sky .
He is also an acting teacher, having taught for several years at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Los Angeles. In the fall of 2007, John Ennis became the "Z" for a series of Wheel of Fortune commercials to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the show.
As of 2015, he stars in commercials for Smith & Forge hard cider and Pur water as well as portraying Windfall Willie for the Arizona Lottery since 2017. He also has starred in short films created by Brandon Calvillo on YouTube. He had a small role as a slots player opposite Kyle MacLachlan in the reboot/third season of Twin Peaks .
In 2020, Ennis appeared as a guest on the Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip marathon fundraiser episode of The George Lucas Talk Show.
In 2022, Ennis played Vinnie Palmieri in an episode of Murderville , and had a guest role in Better Call Saul , a show that has also featured his daughter Jessie in a frequent recurring role.

Kyle Merritt MacLachlan is an American actor. He is best known for his collaborations with American filmmaker David Lynch, starring as Dale Cooper on the television series Twin Peaks, for which he was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor – Television Series Drama, and its film prequel Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me (1992). MacLachlan is also known for his roles as Paul Atreides in Dune (1984) and Jeffrey Beaumont in Blue Velvet (1986), both also directed by Lynch. His other film roles include Lloyd Gallagher in The Hidden (1987), Ray Manzarek in The Doors (1991), Cliff Vandercave in The Flintstones (1994), Zack Carey in Showgirls (1995) and the voice of Riley's father in Inside Out (2015).
Donald Jay Rickles was an American stand-up comedian and actor. He became known primarily for his insult comedy. His film roles include Run Silent, Run Deep (1958), Enter Laughing (1967), Kelly's Heroes (1970), and Casino (1995). From 1976 to 1978, Rickles had a two-season starring role in the NBC television sitcom C.P.O. Sharkey, having previously starred in two eponymous half-hour programs, an ABC variety show titled The Don Rickles Show (1968) and a CBS sitcom identically titled The Don Rickles Show (1972).
Lara Flynn Boyle is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Donna Hayward in the television series Twin Peaks (1990–1991). Tim Meadows is an American actor, comedian, and writer. Meadows was one of the longest-running cast members on the NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live, where he appeared for 10 seasons from 1991 to 2000. For his work on SNL, he received a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1993. He played main character John Glascott on the ABC sitcom Schooled for its two-season run after playing the same character in a recurring role for six seasons on The Goldbergs. Meadows also played a high-school principal in the 2004 film Mean Girls, and reprised the role in Mean Girls 2 and the film's 2024 musical adaptation.
Sherilyn Fenn is an American actress. She played Audrey Horne on the television series Twin Peaks for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy Award.
Marvin John Nance was an American actor. A longtime collaborator of filmmaker David Lynch, Nance portrayed the lead in Lynch's directorial film debut Eraserhead (1977). He continued to work with Lynch throughout his career, including as a series regular on the ABC mystery drama Twin Peaks (1990–1991).

Run Ronnie Run! is an American satirical comedy film directed by Troy Miller. The film is a spin-off inspired by David Cross's recurring character Ronnie Dobbs from the HBO sketch comedy series Mr. Show. David Cross plays the lead and multiple other roles, while Mr. Show co-creator Bob Odenkirk plays multiple supporting roles. The film was produced in 2001 and premiered at the 2002 Sundance Film Festival, before being released direct-to-video over 18 months later in 2003.

Reilly, Kristen Wiig, Tim Meadows and Jenna Fischer. A parody of the biopic genre, Walk Hard is the story of a fictional early rock and roll star played by Reilly.
