The 2016 United States House of Representatives elections in Arizona were held on November 8,2016,to elect the nine U.S. representatives from the state of Arizona,one from each of the state's nine congressional districts. The elections coincided with the 2016 U.S. presidential election,as well as other elections to the House of Representatives,elections to the United States Senate and various state and local elections. The primaries were held on August 30.
John T. Hughes was a politician from Arizona who served in the 1st Arizona State Legislature. He was also a newspaper man,editing and publishing his father's paper,the Arizona Daily Star,and an attorney,the first native-born Arizonan to be admitted to the Arizona bar. Additionally,he had several mining and real estate interests.
Colonel A. A. Worsley was a politician from Arizona who served in the 1st Arizona State Legislature. Worsley was also an attorney,who practiced in Tucson,Arizona. He was married to Alice J. Worsley.
Sam F. Webb was a politician from Arizona who served in the Arizona legislature for several terms,both when it was a territory and after it became a state. Charles Hays Rutherford was an American lawyer and politician from Arizona who served in the Arizona State Senate from 1917 through 1918,during the 3rd Arizona State Legislature. He also served during the 6th Arizona State Legislature. He served in the Army Reserve,first in the JAG corps,then in the Specialist Reserve Corps,eventually attaining the rank of Colonel. From 1930 until his death in 1950 he served as a civilian aide to the Secretary of War. He practiced law,first in Indiana early in his career,and then in Arizona,until he was disbarred by the Arizona Supreme Court in 1949.
David C. O'Neil was an American politician from Arizona. He served a single term in the Arizona State House of Representatives during the 3rd Arizona State Legislature,and a single term in the Arizona State Senate during the 4th Arizona State Legislature. He served 13 years on the Arizona State Tax Commission,6 of them as chairman. He was appointed in 1934 to serve the last year of an unexpired term,then was re-elected twice,in 1934 and 1940. Early in his career he worked in the hospitality and transportation industries.

Other offices held included a regent for the University of Arizona,chairman of the Arizona Highway Commission,chief of the Prescott Fire Department,president of the Arizona Wool Growers Association,and vice-president of the National Wool Growers Association.

John P. Cull was an American politician from Arizona. He served several terms in the Arizona State Legislature,beginning in Arizona House of Representatives during the 4th Arizona State Legislature,and then in the Arizona State Senate first in the 5th Arizona State Legislature,and again in the 10th Arizona State Legislature. In both of his re-election attempts to the State Senate he was defeated in the Democrat's primary. During his career he was involved in the banking and mercantile industries,and later on was one of the largest cattle ranchers in Cochise County. During the 1930s he also served on the Arizona State Livestock Sanitary Board.
Celora Martin Stoddard was an American politician from Arizona. He served a single term in the Arizona State Senate during the 5th Arizona State Legislature,holding one of the two seats from Maricopa County. He ran unsuccessfully for the Republican nomination for governor in 1928. A World War I veteran,he helped establish the first American Legion post in Arizona in 1919,and became its first commander. He would later be selected the Legion's state commander,and also served a term as the national vice-commander of the organization. He was well known in the mining industry in Arizona.
James Curtin was an American politician from Arizona. He served a single term in the Arizona State Senate during the 5th Arizona State Legislature,holding the seat from Navajo County. He was one of the largest sheep ranchers in Arizona,at one point serving on the state's Sheep Sanitary Board. He was elected as one of the two delegates from Navajo County to the Arizona Constitutional Convention in 1910. At other points he was the sheriff of Apache County and the treasurer of Navajo County.

Everett Hunter McEachren was an American politician from Arizona. He served a four consecutive terms in the Arizona State Senate during the 10th through 13th Arizona State Legislatures,holding one of the two seats from Gila County. He had served a portion of the 9th Arizona State Legislature,having been appointed to serve the unexpired term of John R. Lyons,who had died in office in November 1929.
James R. McFarland was an American politician from Arizona. He served two terms in the Arizona Senate during the 9th and 10th Arizona State Legislatures,holding one of the two seats from Yavapai County. In 1928,McFarland ran for one of the two seats from Yavapai County for the Arizona Senate. He received the highest vote count of the three Democrats in the primary,and then he and incumbent A. H. Favour won in November's general election. In 1930 both McFarland and Favour were re-elected. In January 1931,McFarland resigned his post in the State Senate.

J. Hubert Smith,also known as J. H. Smith or J. H. (Hubert) Smith was an American politician from Arizona. He served several terms in the Arizona State Senate during the 10th,12th,13th,15th,and 16th Arizona State Legislatures holding the seat from Mohave County. He also served as an assistant state attorney general during the 1940s.
