John Frost (born 20 May 1980) is an Irish professional footballer who last played for Waterford United in the League of Ireland [1] In 2017 Frost returned to the RSC as a coach to Alan Reynolds.
At the age of five, Frost was run over by a car; he suffered a fractured skull, broken thigh bone and a broken right arm as a result. [2]
Frost first came to notice when nominated for the FAI's Schools Player of the Year in 1998. He was a regular in the Republic of Ireland youth teams by then and soon made his debut in the League of Ireland for hometown club Waterford United. His performances led Frost to being called into the Republic of Ireland under 21 squad. In 2000 Waterford lost a relegation play off and many commentators expected Frost to leave but he stayed loyal and was rewarded with the club captaincy. Waterford won promotion by winning the First Division in the 2002–03 season and Frost had his first senior medal. Frost is a left full back and joined St. Pats from Waterford United in July 2005 when financial difficulties forced Waterford to offload their top players. Frost has lost 2 FAI Cup finals, in 2004 and in 2006. He represented his country at the UEFA U-19 Championship in Sweden in 1999 where he won a bronze medal [3] In December 2012 he rejoined his hometown club [4]

He was the manager of Shelbourne from December 2014 until June 2016. As a player Doherty was a powerful centre back, who was named FAI School's International Player of the Year in 1998. He was transferred from Home Farm Everton to Liverpool FC in the same year and played for the Premier League club's youth and reserve teams, as well as for the Republic of Ireland under-18 team. A broken femur suffered at the end of his first season with Liverpool was the first of several injuries which beset Doherty throughout his playing career.

Mark O'Sullivan is an association footballer who played for League of Ireland Premier Division club Cork City as a striker for several years. O'Sullivan spent four years with Munster Senior League side Avondale United before signing for Cork City Foras in 2010. He later returned to Avondale United, before returning to Cork City in 2014. He signed for Waterford in 2017. He then joined Limerick in 2018, before returning to Avondale United in the summer of 2018, and rejoined Cork City in 2019.

In 2020 he joined the Waterford county hurling team and was part of the team that reached the 2020 All-Ireland SHC Final.
Georgie Poynton is an Irish footballer who plays for NIFL Premiership side Newry City. He has previously played for Dundalk, Bohemians, Saint Patrick's Athletic, Waterford, Shelbourne and Drogheda United. He competed at underage level for the Republic of Ireland national under-19 football team, and was named 2016 FAI Under-19 Player of the Year.
