John Hansen (August 28, 1917 – May 1, 2015) was an American politician who was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. [1] He was a Democrat. [2]

Hansen was born in Raymond, Wisconsin. [3] Later, he resided in Franksville, Wisconsin.

Career

Hansen was elected to the Assembly in 1958. [4] [5] Previously, he had been an unsuccessful candidate for the seat in 1956. Additionally, he was a member of the Raymond School Board from 1940 to 1945, the Raymond Town Board from 1945 to 1948 and the Racine County, Wisconsin Board from 1951 to 1958.

Racine County Jane Doe was a young white woman whose body was discovered in 1999 in the town of Raymond, Racine County, Wisconsin. The victim was aged 18 to 35 years at the time of her death, which had occurred after her enduring several weeks of extreme neglect and both physical and sexual abuse. New developments in the case have emerged after her body was exhumed on October 16, 2013. It is not known how successfully these leads have been followed.

The 2018 United States House of Representatives elections in Wisconsin were held on November 6, 2018, to elect the eight U.S. Representatives from the state of Wisconsin, one from each of the state's eight congressional districts. The elections coincided with other elections to the House of Representatives, elections to the United States Senate and various state and local elections. The Wisconsin Partisan Primary was held on August 14, 2018, with the governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, odd-numbered Wisconsin State Senate seats, and all Wisconsin Assembly seats on the ballot.
