The School of the Museum of Fine Arts at Tufts University is the art school of Tufts University, a private research university in Boston, Massachusetts. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees dedicated to the visual arts.

The California Art Club (CAC) is one of the oldest and most active arts organizations in California. Founded in December 1909, it celebrated its centennial in 2009 and into the spring of 2010. Woelffer was one of the important people in bringing modernism to Los Angeles, when he taught at Chouinard Art Institute.
Dean Cornwell was an American illustrator and muralist. His oil paintings were frequently featured in popular magazines and books as literary illustrations, advertisements, and posters promoting the war effort. Throughout the first half of the 20th century he was a dominant presence in American illustration. At the peak of his popularity he was nicknamed the "Dean of Illustrators".
Karl Stanley Benjamin was an American painter of vibrant geometric abstractions, who rose to fame in 1959 as one of four Los Angeles-based Abstract Classicists and subsequently produced a critically acclaimed body of work that explores a vast array of color relationships. Working quietly at his home in Claremont, CA, he developed a rich vocabulary of colors and hard-edge shapes in masterful compositions of tightly balanced repose or high-spirited energy. At once intuitive and systematic, the artist is, in the words of critic Christopher Knight, "a colorist of great wit and inventiveness."
Peter Seitz Adams is an American artist. His body of work focuses on landscapes and seascapes created en plein air in oil or pastel as well as enigmatic figure and still-life paintings. He is noted for his colorful, high-key palette and broad brushwork. Adams has held numerous solo and group exhibitions in galleries and museums, including throughout California, the Western United States, and on the East Coast in Philadelphia, Vermont, and New York. Adams is the longest serving President of the California Art Club and has served on its board of directors in Pasadena, California from 1993 to 2018. He is also a writer on subjects relating to historic artists for the California Art Club Newsletter, as well as for a number of the organization's exhibition catalogs.
Frederick S. Wight was a multi-talented cultural leader who played a significant role in transforming Los Angeles into a major art center. An influential educator at the University of California, Los Angeles, who presented museum-quality exhibitions at the campus gallery later named the Wight Art Gallery, Wight was also a highly accomplished painter and writer. In his final years he concentrated on his painting, producing radiant landscapes that appear to be animated by mysterious, spiritual forces.
Fletcher Martin, was an American painter, illustrator, muralist and educator. He is best known for his images of military life during World War II and his sometimes brutal images of boxing and other sports.
Alexandra Bradshaw, also known as Alexandra Bradshaw Hoag, was a Canadian-American watercolor artist and art professor. She studied art in the United States and Paris and became an instructor and head of the Fine Arts department at Fresno State College in California. Her works were exhibited in group and solo exhibitions throughout California and the United States from the 1930s through the 1960s. She married late in life to Clarence Hoag, the founder of Hoag Press in Boston. Their residence in Wakefield, Massachusetts, was Castle Clare and Bradshaw kept her house in South Laguna, California.
Joseph Theodore "Waáno-Gano" ("Joe") Noonan of the San Fernando Valley Professional Artists' Guild was an artist born on March 3, 1906, in Salt Lake City, Utah. He self-identified as being of Cherokee descent.
Kathryn Woodman Leighton was an American artist, based in Los Angeles, California, best known for her Western landscapes and for portraits of Native Americans.
E. Roscoe Shrader was an American painter and art instructor known for his colorful, post-impressionistic landscapes, figures, and still lifes. He was head of faculty at the Otis Art Institute from 1919 to 1949, and was the president of the California Art Club (CAC) from 1924 to 1930, and again in 1934. He formed the Group of Eight, which included painters such as Mabel Alvarez, at his studio in Hollywood, California.
Edward Borein (1872–1945) was an American etcher and painter from California. His artwork depicted Spanish Colonial California, the Old West, and Mexico.
Cornelis Botke (1887-1954) was a Dutch-born American painter and etcher. He emigrated to the United States in 1930, and he first lived in Chicago before moving to Southern California. By the time of his death, his artwork hung in the New York Public Library, the Los Angeles Public Library, and the California State Library. His wife, Jessie Arms Botke, was also an artist.
William Vincent Cahill (1878-1924) was an American painter and art educator.
Art Students League of Los Angeles was a modernist painting school that operated in Los Angeles, California from 1906 to 1953.
Clarence Keiser Hinkle was an American painter and art educator. His art studio was in Laguna Beach, California and later in Santa Barbara, California.
