John J. Gallagher (born May 13,1944) is an American politician who served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 1974 to 1978. [1] [2]

Dr. Gabriel Trujillo is the superintendent,appointed on September 12,2017,by the Governing Board. As of 2016,TUSD had more than 47,670 students. As of Fall 2012,according to Superintendent John Pedicone,TUSD had 50,000 students. District enrollment has declined over the last 10 years and TUSD lost 1,700 to 2,000 students per year for the two or three years prior to 2012.
Stirling is a NJ Transit station in the Stirling neighborhood of Long Hill Township,New Jersey along the Gladstone Branch of the Morris and Essex line. The station consists of one side platform,as well as a concrete block shelter constructed in August 1974 after the former Delaware,Lackawanna and Western Railroad depot was demolished. The Erie Lackawanna Railroad demolished the old depot on August 14,1972 without notifying then-Passaic Township.

James William Nettles is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played all or part of six seasons in Major League Baseball,between 1970 and 1981,for the Minnesota Twins,Detroit Tigers,Kansas City Royals and Oakland Athletics. In 1975,he played for the Nankai Hawks of Nippon Professional Baseball. Following his playing career,Nettles managed in the minor leagues from 1983 until 1996. He is the younger brother of Graig Nettles.
The West Jersey and Seashore Railroad (WJ&S) was a Pennsylvania Railroad subsidiary in the U.S. state of New Jersey with a connection to Philadelphia. It was formed through the merger of several smaller roads in May 1896. At the end of 1925 it operated 379 miles (610 km) of road on 717 miles (1,154 km) of track;that year it reported 166 million ton-miles of revenue freight and 332 million passenger-miles. The railroad became part of Pennsylvania-Reading Seashore Lines in 1933.

Asbury Park,New Jersey incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 26,1874,from portions of Ocean Township. The borough was reincorporated on February 28,1893. Asbury Park was incorporated as a city,its current type of government,as of March 25,1897. The city has seen various changes in its form of government. It had directly elected mayors under its first two forms of government beginning in 1874. In 1915,the city adopted mayor-council form of government with a commission. It reorganized under the 1923 Municipal Manager Law in that year. In 2011,it became mayor-council.

MANN+HUMMEL Purolator Filters LLC,more commonly known as Purolator,is an American manufacturer of oil and air filters,based in Fayetteville,North Carolina. Since 2013,it has been a subsidiary of German filter manufacturer Mann+Hummel. Purolator manufactured and sold the first commercially available automotive oil filters starting in the 1920s. For several decades in the late 20th Century,Purolator operated a large North American courier business known as Purolator Couriers. Canadian courier Purolator Inc. and its subsidiary Purolator International are the successors of that business but have had no direct relationship with their former parent since 1987.

Charles D. Worthington was an American politician from the state of New Jersey. He served one term in the New Jersey General Assembly from the 2nd Legislative District from 1974 to 1975. He also became the first County Executive of Atlantic County in November 1975,briefly serving in both positions at the same time. Worthington won his reelection bid for County Executive in 1979.

Stephenville is an unincorporated community and residential neighborhood located within Edison Township in Middlesex County,in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The community is centered around Park Avenue,which borders the south and west ends of the community,Stephenville Parkway,a median strip-street which runs east–west in the center of the community,and Plainfield Road,which borders the east end of the community. An eastern addition to Stephenville was planned in the early 1950s,east of Plainfield Road,but after years of political,residential and township issues,it was ultimately abandoned and portions were sectioned off into different communities during the late 1950s and early 1960s. Stephenville is located between Sutton Hollow to the north,the Oak Tree-Stephenville Park to the northeast,Hampshire Gardens,Carriage Hill and Arrowhead Park to the east,Woodbrook Corners to the south,and Park Gate and New Petrograd to the west.

When she was dismissed from a teaching position after her sex reassignment surgery in 1971,she sued the school district on the basis of sex discrimination. Her lawsuit,Grossman v. Bernards Township Board of Education,was ultimately unsuccessful,but it garnered national media attention.
