John Moore (born 17 March 1950) is a Thoroughbred racehorse trainer.

Moore was born in Sydney, Australia, The son of jockey and trainer George Moore. He began working in Hong Kong racing as an assistant to his father in 1971. In 1985, John Moore took out his trainers license and built a highly successful career for himself in Hong Kong.

Moore won the 2014 Dubai Golden Shaheen with Hong Kong–based Sterling City. live telecast of 2014 Dubai World Cup broadcast, 29 March 2014.

Moore has won the Hong Kong Trainers Premiership five times and in 2005 broke Brian Kan's record for most career wins by a trainer in Hong Kong racing.

The 55 winners he saddled in 2013–14 brought his career total to 1,400.

John Size is one of the most successful racehorse trainers in Hong Kong history and was inducted into the Australian Racing Hall Of Fame in 2018. After a successful career in his native Australia, Size arrived in Hong Kong for the 2001-02 season with a reputation for rejuvenating horses set back by illness or injury and for his ability to mould and develop young horses from the beginning of their careers. In his first season, he trained 58 winners to become only the second trainer ever to win the championship title in his first season. Size subsequently added more championships in 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019, and shares the record of 11 Hong Kong title wins with another legendary Australian, George Moore. Size holds the record for the number of winners saddled in a Hong Kong season - 95 in 2016-17 and, in the 2017-18 season, broke the Hong Kong record for prizemoney won by his runners with HK$176,441,240. At the end of the 2019-20 season, he had trained 1,257 winners in Hong Kong, ranking him only behind John Moore (1,735) and Tony Cruz (1,294). He lives in Hong Kong with his wife, Coco, and their daughter, Carina.

Military Attack is an Irish-bred, Hong Kong trained Thoroughbred racehorse. Unraced as a two-year-old he showed promising form in Britain in 2011 before being sold to race in Hong Kong. He continued to show useful but unexceptional form before emerging as a dominant middle-distance performer in the early part of 2013, winning the January Cup, Hong Kong Gold Cup, Premier Plate, Queen Elizabeth II Cup and Singapore Airlines International Cup. Able Friend is an Australian-bred, Hong Kong-trained Thoroughbred racehorse. After showing some promise when winning one of his two races in his native country, the gelding was transferred to race in Hong Kong in 2013. In the 2013/2014 season he established himself as one of the best milers in Hong Kong with four wins including the Hong Kong Classic Mile and the Chairman's Trophy from seven races. In the following season his wins in the Jockey Club Mile (2014) and Hong Kong Mile saw him rated among the best racehorses in the world. By the International Ratings of 127, he was officially the highest internationally rated Hong Kong racehorse ever. He was crowned as the Hong Kong Horse of the Year in 2015.
