John S. Durland was an American politician. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly.
Durland was born on December 1, 1847, in Chester, Orange County, New York. [1] He finished his education in Bloomfield, New Jersey, before moving to Rushford, Minnesota, in 1869 and La Crosse, Wisconsin, in 1888.
Durland was a Republican member of the Assembly during the 1905 session. [2] He was also a member of the city councils and boards of education of Rushford and La Crosse.
Patrick Joseph Lucey was an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the 38th Governor of Wisconsin from 1971 to 1977. He was also independent presidential candidate John B. Anderson's running mate in the 1980 presidential election.
