John Stanworth (born 30 September 1960) is a former English cricketer active from 1979 to 1992 who played for Lancashire. He was born in Oldham. He appeared in 44 first-class matches as a righthanded batsman and wicketkeeper. He scored 266 runs with a highest score of 50* and held 63 catches with 10 stumpings. [1]

John Towner Williams is an American composer, conductor, and pianist. Widely regarded as one of the greatest film composers of all time, he has composed some of the most popular, recognizable, and critically acclaimed film scores in cinematic history in a career spanning over six decades. Williams has won 24 Grammy Awards, seven British Academy Film Awards, five Academy Awards, and four Golden Globe Awards. With 51 Academy Award nominations, he is the second most-nominated individual, after Walt Disney. In 2005 the American Film Institute selected Williams's score to 1977's Star Wars as the greatest American film score of all time. The Library of Congress also entered the Star Wars soundtrack into the National Recording Registry for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
John Barry Prendergast, was an English composer and conductor of film music. He composed the scores for 11 of the James Bond films between 1963 and 1987, and also arranged and performed the "James Bond Theme" to the first film in the series, 1962's Dr. No. He wrote the Grammy- and Academy Award-winning scores to the films Dances with Wolves and Out of Africa, as well as the theme for the British television cult series The Persuaders!, in a career spanning over 50 years. In 1999, he was appointed OBE for services to music.

Karl Anthony Malone is an American retired professional basketball player. Nicknamed "the Mailman", Malone played the power forward position and spent his first 18 seasons (1985–2003) in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with the Utah Jazz and formed a formidable duo with his teammate John Stockton. Malone also played one season for the Los Angeles Lakers. Malone was a two-time NBA Most Valuable Player, a 14-time NBA All-Star, and an 11-time member of the All-NBA first team. His 36,928 career points scored rank second all-time in NBA history behind Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and he holds the records for most free throws attempted and made, in addition to being tied for the second-most first-team All-NBA selections with Kobe Bryant and behind LeBron James. He is considered one of the greatest power forwards in NBA history.

He has collaborated with directors M. Night Shyamalan, having scored nine of his films since The Sixth Sense, Christopher Nolan, having collaborated with Hans Zimmer on The Dark Knight Trilogy excluding The Dark Knight Rises, Peter Jackson, composing the score for his 2005 remake of King Kong, and Francis Lawrence, having scored all of his films since I Am Legend.
John Neilson Robertson is a Scottish former footballer. He provided the assisting cross for Trevor Francis to score the only goal when Nottingham Forest won the 1979 European Cup Final. A year later he scored when Forest retained the trophy 1-0 this time against Hamburger SV. At Forest he also won promotion from the 1976-77 Football League Second Division, the 1977-78 Football League First Division, the UEFA Super Cup, two Football League Cups, the 1978 FA Charity Shield and the Anglo-Scottish Cup.

An example of naturalism and local color of California during the first half of the nineteenth century, "The Outcasts of Poker Flat" was first published in January 1869 in the magazine Overland Monthly. He is credited, along with Ishizaka's team, and Hans Bennic, for the discovery of a kind of antibody called IgE that mediates immunity to parasites and also has an essential role in type I hypersensitivity and allergic diseases. Their joint paper was published in April 1969.
