Helotes is a city in Bexar County, Texas, United States, located on the far northwest side of San Antonio. It is part of the San Antonio-New Braunfels metropolitan statistical area. Its population was 7,341 at the 2010 census.

Austin City Limits is produced by Austin PBS under the Capital of Texas Public Telecommunications Council. The show was created in 1974 by Bill Arhos, Bruce Scafe, and Paul Bosner.

Shotgun Willie is the sixteenth studio album by Willie Nelson, released in 1973. The recording marks a change of style for Nelson, who later stated that the album "cleared his throat". When Nelson refused to sign an early extension of his contract with RCA Records in 1972, the label decided not to release any further recordings. Nelson hired Neil Reshen as his manager, and while Reshen negotiated with RCA, Nelson moved to Austin, Texas, where the ongoing hippie music scene at the Armadillo World Headquarters renewed his musical style. In Nashville, Nelson met producer Jerry Wexler, vice president of Atlantic Records, who was interested in his music. Reshen solved the problems with RCA and signed Nelson with Atlantic Records as their first country music artist.
No. 2 LIVE Dinner is an album of live music by Texas-based folk singer-songwriter Robert Earl Keen, released in the United States on March 19, 1996. It was his last studio album for Sugar Hill Records, a label he had been with since 1984. After that album's release, Robert Earl Keen left for Arista Records in 1997. The performances are from two different dates, the first fourteen tracks were recorded at the John T. Floore Country Store in Helotes, TX on August 12, 1995. Tracks fifteen through seventeen were recorded at Cactus Cafe Ballroom in Austin, TX on October 8 of the same year.
