John T. Reed

John Theodore "Jack" Reed [1] [2] (born July 5, 1946) [3] [4] [5] is an American businessman, author, and former real estate investor. Reed has written and self-published books on real estate investing, football coaching, baseball coaching, success, and self-publishing.

Reed, who claims many years of experience in property management, [6] considers real estate investment a hands-on business. [7] He has been writing and publishing "nuts-and-bolts guides devoid of motivational or promotional filler" since 1979. [8] Reed also publishes the Real Estate Investor’s Monthly newsletter. The most popular feature [8] on John Reed's website is his real estate "guru" rating, [6] [11] with his opinions of the legitimacy of their claims. Those whom Reed critiques include Robert G. Allen, [12] Robert Kiyosaki, [13] [14] Carleton Sheets [15] and Russ Whitney. [16] Whitney sued Reed for three years, later withdrawing some of the suits and settling another on confidential terms. [8]

Reed was born in New Jersey and graduated from the United States Military Academy with a B.S. degree in 1968. He was commissioned as a United States Army officer, served in Vietnam from 1969 to 1970 and left active duty in 1972 as a first lieutenant. New York Military Academy School in Cornwall-on-Hudson, New York, United States

New York Military Academy (NYMA) is a college preparatory, co-ed boarding school in the rural town of Cornwall, 60 miles (97 km) north of New York City, and one of the oldest military schools in the United States. Originally a boys' school, it started admitting girls in 1975. On March 3, 2015, NYMA filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, and was sold at auction to Chinese-owned foundation Research Center on Natural Conservation Inc. which reopened the school in November 2015. The Research Center then poured millions of dollars into the campus to support instruction and capital improvements. The campus also has been host to popular camps like Camp All America into the 1980s and currently the NYMA Leadership Program.

Robert Kennedy "Bob" Knight began serving as the president of Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, in August 2007. He has done postgraduate work in organizational effectiveness at Chapman University in Fort Lewis, Washington. Born in England, Knight served more than 21 years in the United States Army as an infantry officer and airborne Army Ranger before retiring as a lieutenant colonel. His last duty in the army was as commander of Vancouver Barracks in Vancouver, Washington. Knight retired from Clark College in 2019.

Wayne W. Lambert United States Air Force general

Wayne Winston Lambert was an Air Force Brigadier General. He attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, New York, after already having served a year in the US Army. Lambert graduated from the Academy in 1959 with a B.S. degree in military science and was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant in the USAF that same year. He trained as a bomber pilot, receiving his Aviator badge in 1960. He has logged over 5,800 flying hours with the US Air Force. A seasoned combat veteran, Lambert flew over 225 combat missions in South East Asia as a B-52 crew member. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and received 10 awards of the Air Medal for his service during the Vietnamese War. After serving in a succession of lesser command positions, Lambert was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in 1983, assuming command of the former Strategic Air Command's 7th Air Division, headquartered then at Ramstein Air Base in West Germany, and overseeing SAC operations throughout the European theater. The Brigadier General retired from the US Air Force in 1989.

Why We Want You to Be Rich: Two Men, One Message is a non-fiction book about personal finance, co-authored by Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki. The book was first published in hardcover format in 2006. The coauthors became familiar with each other through mutual work at The Learning Annex and Trump being impressed by Kiyosaki's writing success with Rich Dad Poor Dad. Trump and Kiyosaki co-authored another book together in 2011, Midas Touch: Why Some Entrepreneurs Get Rich-And Why Most Don't. The book discusses American economic problems including the middle-class squeeze, economic globalization, and the national debt of the United States. The authors advise the reader to gain financial literacy and delve into entrepreneurship. Trump and Kiyosaki criticize mutual funds and advocate real estate investing as a way to build wealth.
