In addition to original music, the group has performed popular songs by Laura Nyro, James Taylor, Carole King, the Band, the Rolling Stones, Billie Holiday and many others. The group has also adapted music from Erik Satie, Thelonious Monk and Sergei Prokofiev into their arrangements.
IQ are a British neo-progressive rock band founded by Mike Holmes and Martin Orford in 1981 following the dissolution of their original band The Lens. Although the band have never enjoyed major commercial success and had several lineup changes, IQ have built up a loyal following over the years and are still active as of 2022, currently with the original recording line-up. In 2021/22, IQ performed a series of concerts in the UK and Europe celebrating their 40th anniversary.
The Hanson Brothers were a Canadian punk rock band formed in 1984 in Victoria and later based in Vancouver. The group included John and Rob Wright and Tom Holliston, all members of the punk rock band Nomeansno. The Hanson Brothers' band name references characters in the cult ice hockey film Slap Shot.

Tokyo Blade are an English heavy metal band, active since 1982. Tokyo Blade is one of the many acts considered part of the new wave of British heavy metal (NWOBHM) movement, which lasted from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. Tokyo Blade have been through many changes of formation and have disbanded twice, often changing their musical style during their years of activity. However, the band is still active, with most of the original members in the lineup.
Hellacious Acres is the second album by heavy metal band Dangerous Toys, released in 1991. It was produced by Roy Thomas Baker, and includes a cover of Bad Company's "Feel Like Makin' Love", while "Line 'Em Up" and "Gimme' No Lip" were released as singles to promote the album. This is Dangerous Toys' last album to be released on Columbia Records, and the only album that guitarist Danny Aaron played on, as he left the band during the 1991-1992 Hellacious Acres tour.
The Sky Is Falling and I Want My Mommy is an album recorded by Jello Biafra with the Canadian punk band Nomeansno. The project came about after Nomeansno and Biafra had collaborated for the soundtrack to the underground film Terminal City Ricochet. The title track is a new recording of "Falling Space Junk" with amended lyrics. Jello wrote the lyrics to "Bruce's Diary" from the perspective of his Ricochet character Bruce Coddle, but did so after the movie was released, so the song is only featured on this album.
Blue Tears was an American hard rock band from Henderson, Tennessee, United States, that enjoyed some short-lived fame in the late-1980s. However, the group failed to find significant commercial success, due to the wave of alternative/grunge music, and the group disbanded in 1993 as the members became involved in other projects. The band reformed in 2006 and released a new album. The band was permanently dissolved after lead singer Gregg Fulkerson died on April 14, 2009.

Black Hearts & Jaded Spades is the third album by English hard rock band Tokyo Blade. It was originally released in 1985 on Tokyo Blade own record label and in the same year reissued by SPV/Steamhammer. The keyboard-laden compositions of this album and the strongly down-tuned guitar sound, marks the complete detachment of the band from their new wave of British heavy metal roots. It was interpreted as an attempt to conquer the American and Japanese markets, where glam and pop metal acts dominated the charts, but to no avail.
Night of the Blade is the second studio album released by the British heavy metal band Tokyo Blade on Powerstation Records in 1984. It is the first Tokyo Blade album with Vicki James Wright on vocals. He replaced Alan Marsh when the vocal tracks for the album were already completed, forcing him to re-record the lead vocals in a very short time. Marsh's backing vocals remain on the album except on two tracks, which were recorded after he left the band. The original vocal recordings by Alan Marsh were released in 1998 in the album re-issue Night of the Blade... The Night Before.
