Johnny Perrin is a Canadian punk rock musician from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He is the former frontman of the Winnipeg ska band Grandpa's Army (1998-2000), [1] which released an album in 2000 called G Sides and A Sides. [2] In 2002, two members of Grandpa's Army, Sam Thompson and Alex Southern, made a documentary about Grandpa's Army, The Truth is Disgusting, which was released on YouTube. [3]

In 2000, Perrin recorded an EP, Pay To The Order Of, with the band TBA. [4]

Perrin appeared in the 2004 Dogme 95 film, The Smokestack Wager.[ citation needed ] In 2004, he recorded the EP Den of Iniquity with a Winnipeg band of the same name. [5] In 2005, he played drums for The Brat Attack and that band's album From This Beauty Comes Chaos And Mayhem . In 2012, he played drums for the Ottawa band Up 'N' Atom[ citation needed ]. He sang crew vocals on the 2013 Misery Signals album, Absent Light .

Perrin is son of John Draper Perrin III,[ citation needed ] great-grandson of John Draper Perrin, and grandson of John Draper Perrin Jr.[ citation needed ] He works in management for the musical instrument retailer Long & McQuade. [6]

King Diamond Musical artist

Kim Bendix Petersen, better known by his stage name King Diamond, is a Danish rock musician and songwriter. As a vocalist, he is known for his powerful and wide-ranging singing voice, in particular his far-reaching falsetto screams. He is the lead vocalist and lyricist for both Mercyful Fate and the eponymous King Diamond. He also plays keyboards and guitars on studio recordings but uses live shows to focus solely on his vocal performance. Diamond is renowned for his dark lyrical content and his story concepts. Leæther Strip Danish musical project

Leæther Strip is a Danish musical project founded on 13 January 1988 by Claus Larsen. Its influence has been most felt in the electronic body music and electro-industrial genres. Leæther Strip was one of the earliest and most prominent acts on Germany's now defunct Zoth Ommog record label. For distribution outside of Europe, the music has been licensed to the U.S. labels Cleopatra Records and Metropolis Records. After the demise of Zoth Ommog in 1999, Larsen signed to Bloodline Records, which only released a single before also going out of business. In 2005, Leæther Strip signed with the Belgian-based label Alfa Matrix. On 3 June 2011 Larsen announced his split from Alfa Matrix in order to self-release future material.

Mayhem is a Norwegian black metal band formed in Langhus in 1984. They were one of the founders of the Norwegian black metal scene and their music has strongly influenced the black metal genre. Mayhem's early career was highly controversial, primarily due to their notorious live performances, the 1991 suicide of vocalist Per Yngve Ohlin ("Dead") and the 1993 murder of guitarist Øystein Aarseth ("Euronymous") by former member Varg Vikernes of Burzum.

SWMRS American punk rock band

SWMRS, pronounced 'swimmers', was an American punk rock band formed in Piedmont, California in 2004 by Cole Becker and Joey Armstrong, with Becker's brother Max Becker joining only a few weeks afterwards. They drew on a mix of influences ranging from the Beach Boys to the Ramones to create their own brand of rock. The band added Travis Neumann in 2009, who later left in 2014 due to creative differences. The band released a demo and a string of EPs from 2008 to 2010. The band released their first album, Don't Be a Dick, on June 14, 2011. The band's second album, Lost at Seventeen, was released on June 11, 2013. They added Sebastian Mueller as the bassist in 2014. The band's third studio album, and their first under the name SWMRS after dropping their former name, Drive North, was released February 12, 2016, via Uncool Records. Drive North was later re-released after the band was signed to record label Fueled by Ramen on October 13, 2016.
