In Arizona, a joint technological education district (JTED) is a school district that offers high school career and technical education programs to partner school districts. The concept was created in 1990, [1] and there are 13 such districts in Arizona. A 14th JTED was proposed for Yuma, the only county in the state without one; [2] it was approved by vote in November 2014 and began operations as STEDY in January 2015.

ACIT is located on a 58-acre (230,000 m2) campus in the Mays Landing area of Hamilton Township. The school was constructed in 1974 and underwent a major renovation in 1994 and 2009-2011.
Charles H. McCann Technical School is a technical school located in North Adams, Massachusetts, United States that serves grades 9-12. It serves the Northern Berkshire Vocational Regional School District made up of the City of North Adams, and the towns of Adams, Williamstown, Cheshire, Lanesborough, Clarksburg, Florida, Savoy, and Monroe, with tuition-based students coming from various other towns. In the high school, during the 2014-2015 school year, McCann had an enrollment of 500 students. McCann also provides a Post Secondary program.
Western School of Technology and Environmental Science (WSTES), also known as Western Tech, is a public magnet high school in Catonsville, Maryland, United States. The school's main focuses are its twelve magnet programs pertaining to specific careers. In December 2013, Western Tech was named one of six public Blue Ribbon Schools in Maryland for 2014. On September 30, 2014, Western earned its status as a National Blue Ribbon School, becoming the seventeenth school in Baltimore County since 1994 to receive this honor.
The Ocean County Vocational Technical School is a public school district based in Toms River that provides technical and vocational education to residents of Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The district provides a number of full-time public high school programs and also serves adult students. The district operates under the supervision of the Ocean County Board of County Commissioners and an appointed board of education.

Established in January 2015 as the result of a public vote in November 2014, STEDY is Arizona's 14th JTED and serves the Yuma Union High School District and Antelope Union High School District, as well as all high school kids in Yuma County.
