Jon Beutjer (born August 15, 1980) is a former American football quarterback. As a senior at Wheaton Warrenville South High School he threw for a then-national high school record of 60 touchdowns in a 14-game season, winning several Illinois High School Player of the Year honors in the process. He began his college football career at the University of Iowa, ending Iowa's 19-game losing streak with a victory over Michigan State during the 2000 season. Beutjer joined the Iowa basketball team as a walk-on, seeing very limited action in six games during the 2000-01 season. During the summer of 2001, Beutjer with roommate and fellow football teammate Sam Aiello got in a dispute over a cable bill, which resulted in Beutjer being knocked unconscious in a parking lot. Beutjer wound up transferring to the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. After sitting out the 2001 season per NCAA transfer rules, he played for the Illini during the 2002 and 2003 seasons. He was granted a 6th year of eligibility in 2004, where he split playing time with sophomore Brad Bower. After finishing his college football career, Beutjer played in the Arena Football League and Canadian Football League. [1] [2] In 2008, he signed on with the All American Football League for Team Michigan. However, as of 2011 the league has not gotten off the ground. He now works as a physical education teacher and is the current head football coach at Lyons Township High School in LaGrange, IL and announced on December 9, 2013 that he is expecting his first child.

Chris James Redman is an American former professional football player who was a quarterback for nine seasons in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Louisville Cardinals and was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2000 NFL draft. Redman spent four seasons with the Ravens, primarily serving as a backup, and was part of the team that won a Super Bowl title in Super Bowl XXXV. After four years away from the NFL, he returned in 2007 with the Atlanta Falcons, where he played his last five seasons.
Charles Franklin Long Jr. is an American football coach and former player who is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Arlington Renegades of the United Football League (UFL). He played as a quarterback in college for the Iowa Hawkeyes under coach Hayden Fry and professionally with the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League (NFL). He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1999. After his professional career, Long was an assistant coach at Iowa and Oklahoma before serving as the head football coach for the San Diego State Aztecs. Long also held a position as the offensive coordinator for the Kansas Jayhawks under head coach Turner Gill. Long is the CEO and executive director of the Iowa Sports Foundation, the organization that runs the Iowa Games, the Senior Games, Adaptive Sports Iowa, Iowa Corporate Games and the Live Healthy Iowa challenge, as well as an analyst for the Big Ten Network.

William John Cubit is an American football coach and former player. Cubit was the head football coach at the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, first on an interim basis in the 2015 season and then promoted to the post full-time before his dismissal on March 5, 2016. Cubit served as the head football coach at Widener University from 1992 to 1996, and Western Michigan University from 2005 to 2012. Most recently, in 2019, he served as assistant head coach and running backs coach at his alma mater, the University of Delaware.

Franklin Bart Macomber was an American football player. He played halfback and quarterback for the University of Illinois from 1914 to 1916 and helped the school to its first national football championship and consecutive undefeated seasons in 1914 and 1915. He later played professional football for the Canton Bulldogs and Youngstown Patricians. He was also the coach and owner of the Oakland Oaks in the Pacific Coast professional football league founded in 1926. He was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1972.
Robert Patrick "Tate" Forcier is a former American football quarterback. He was a starting quarterback for the 2009 Michigan Wolverines football team ahead of Denard Robinson, and Robinson's backup for the 2010 Michigan Wolverines football team. He left the program in January 2011 when head coach Rich Rodriguez was replaced by Brady Hoke. He missed the January 1, 2011 Gator Bowl after being ruled academically ineligible and was no longer enrolled at the university when the new term began following the semester break. On February 9, 2011, Forcier announced his transfer to the University of Miami. He originally intended to redshirt the 2011 season and play for the Miami Hurricanes football team in the 2012 and 2013 season but instead transferred to San Jose State University to play for the Spartans football team. He soon withdrew from the San Jose State football program. He then attended training camp with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
