Jonathan Michael Howard (born April 27, 1985, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania) is an American musician, songwriter, mixing engineer, record producer and entrepreneur.
In 2004, shortly after graduating high-school, Howard moved to Lancaster, California to join the Forefront Records band, Dizmas. [1] After hundreds of shows and three records, members of Dizmas moved on. [2] Howard was the lead guitarist for the rock band Dizmas from 2003 to 2009, leaving after they went on hiatus and becoming a guitarist for the band Stellar Kart until he left the band in 2010. [3]
In the summer of 2010, Howard began touring with the band Paramore as an additional rhythm guitar player, keyboardist and percussionist. [4] He maintained this position until he left in 2016 [5] - he played his last shows as part of Paramore in March of that year, during the band's second "Parahoy! Cruise". Jon's brother, Joey, joined Paramore as a touring bassist in 2016. [6]
Howard has co-written and produced songs performed by Dashboard Confessional, [7] Illenium, [8] Aaron Gillespie, [9] Seven Lions, MiTis, and Natalie Taylor among others. He has mixed and/or produced songs for Jon Foreman, [10] New Found Glory, [11] Bayside, and Halfnoise. [12]
In 2021, Howard was the co-songwriter and the vocal producer for the track Fragments of the American DJ Illenium's Album, Fallen Embers. The album was nominated for the 64th Annual Grammy Awards's Best Dance/Electronic Album in 2022. [13] [14]
He is a frequent collaborator of his wife Natalie Taylor, [15] [16] with whom he co-wrote and produced her Platinum-selling song, Surrender. [17] [18]
In 2018, Howard co-founded the location scouting company, Avvay. [19] [20] Avvay's platform allows artists to book locations for photo and recording sessions, video shoots, and performances. [21]
Howard is married to singer Natalie Taylor. They reside in Franklin, Tennessee with their two children. [22]
Pop-punk is a rock music fusion genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop. It is defined by its fast-paced, energetic tempos, and emphasis on classic pop songcraft, as well as adolescent and anti-suburbia themes. The Chariot was an American hardcore punk band from Douglasville, Georgia, that existed from 2003 to 2013. The last lineup consisted of drummer David Kennedy, vocalist and bandleader Josh Scogin, and guitarists Brandon Henderson and Stephen Harrison. The band experienced frequent lineup changes since its inception, with Scogin being the only original member. The band played an abrasive style of metalcore that did not adhere to typical stylings popular among their contemporaries such as melodic/abrasive dynamics and harmonic vocals. Aaron Roderick Gillespie is an American musician, best known for being the original and current drummer and clean vocalist for the rock band Underoath and the lead singer and rhythm guitarist for the alternative rock band the Almost. He has also worked with the band The Dangerous Summer. Gillespie also maintains his own solo project and released his debut full-length album, Anthem Song, in 2011. From 2013 to 2016, he was the touring drummer for Paramore.
I Am the Avalanche is an American punk rock band from Brooklyn, New York. The group's name comes from a lyric written by Vinnie Caruana for a song which was later discarded. The phrase also appears in the poem "Oh, Immobility, Death's Vast Associate" by Stephen Dobyns; however, Caruana maintains that this is a coincidence, and that he was not aware of the poem until after naming the band.

Stellar Kart was an American pop punk band from Phoenix, Arizona, signed to Inpop Records and Capitol Records. The band released their first album, All Gas. No Brake, in February 2005. Most of their singles have been accepted exclusively on Christian radio stations such as Air 1. Their song "Me and Jesus" from their 2006 album We Can't Stand Sitting Down hit No. 1 for seven weeks on the Hot Christian Songs chart and won the 2007 Dove Award for "Rock/Contemporary Recorded Song". Their song "Something Holy" from their 2010 album Everything Is Different Now, an album which adopts a more "worshipful" flavor charted at No. 23 on Billboard Magazine for eighteen weeks. Their latest full-length album, All In, was released on August 27, 2013.
All We Know Is Falling is the debut studio album by the American rock band Paramore, released on July 26, 2005, under the Atlantic-distributed Fueled by Ramen in the United States. Its production was handled by James Paul Wisner, Mike Green, Nick Trevisick, and Roger Alan Nichols. The departure of bassist Jeremy Davis, which occurred a few days after arriving in Orlando, served as the album's main theme. This theme was reflected especially in the album's cover and title. Mostly categorized as a pop-punk album, the album received mostly positive reviews and has been labeled a "scene classic".

"Playing God" is a song by American rock band Paramore, taken from their third studio album, Brand New Eyes (2009). The song was written by the band's lead singer Hayley Williams, lead guitarist Josh Farro, and rhythm guitarist Taylor York, and produced by Rob Cavallo, and the band. It was released as the fifth and final single from the album on November 15, 2010. It was also the final single to feature former band members Josh and Zac Farro before their departure in 2010. Honey Revenge is an American pop rock band formed in Los Angeles in 2021. The band consists of lead vocalist Devin Papadol and guitarist Donovan Lloyd. Formed after Lloyd moved to Los Angeles from Georgia and joined a five-piece band Papadol was in, the pair continued working together after the other three members left, and released their debut album, Retrovision, in June 2023.
