Jonathan Brewer (born July 23, 1987) is an American football coach who is currently the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Duke Blue Devils.

Coaching career

Brewer got his first career coaching job in 2013 as a graduate assistant for the Auburn Tigers. [1] For the 2016 season, Brewer was promoted by the Tigers to become an offensive analyst for the team. [2] In 2017, Brewer decided to join the UConn Huskies as an offensive analyst for the team. [3] For the 2018 season, Brewer was hired by the SMU Mustangs to serve as an offensive quality control coach and offensive analyst. [4] In 2020, Brewer was hired by the Miami Hurricanes to serve as an offensive quality control coach. [5] In 2022, Brewer re-joined SMU this time as the team's quarterbacks coach. [6] After the 2022 season, Brewer was promoted by the Mustangs to serve as the team's co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. [7] On March 26, 2024, Brewer was named the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Duke Blue Devils. [8]

He played college football for the Miami Hurricanes, where he won the national championship and the Maxwell Award in 2001. He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the seventh round of the 2003 NFL draft, later playing for the Cleveland Browns and the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL), before retiring in 2010.

The Duke Blue Devils football team represents Duke University in the sport of American football. Gary Joe Kinne III is an American football coach and former player who is currently the head coach at Texas State University. He played as a quarterback and was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2012. He played college football for the Texas Longhorns and the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.

Chad Allen Morris is an American football coach. He served as the head football coach at Southern Methodist University (SMU) from 2015 to 2017 and the University of Arkansas from 2018 to 2019.

Robb Smith is an American football coach and former player. He is currently an analyst for the Penn State Nittany Lions. Kurt Roper is an American football coach and former player. He is currently the quarterbacks backs coach at North Carolina State University. Roper was the interim head football coach at University of Colorado Boulder for the final game of the 2018 season. He previously served as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at the University of South Carolina for two seasons. He also served as the offensive coordinator at the University of Florida in 2014 and Duke University for six seasons prior to that. A native of Ames, Iowa, he was starting quarterback for Ardmore (OK) High School, where he led the Tigers to a 1990 state championship. Roper earned three varsity letters as a quarterback and defensive back at Rice before graduating in 1995. He earned a master's degree from the University of Tennessee in 1998. His coaching career has been much associated with that of David Cutcliffe.

Kevin Johns is an American football coach who is an offensive analyst at the University of Oklahoma. Previously, Johns served as an offensive coordinator at Duke University, Indiana University Bloomington, Western Michigan University, Texas Tech University, and the University of Memphis.

Rich Skrosky is an American college football coach and former player. He is a senior analyst for Duke. He was hired as head football coach at Elon University for the 2014 season. Skrosky served as an assistant coach at Elon under Pete Lembo from 2006 to 2010. Lembo's tenure brought new success to Elon's football program, which made its first FCS playoff appearance in 2009. Lembo was hired as head coach at Ball State University after the 2010 season. Skrosky joined Lembo's staff as offensive coordinator.

Joe Craddock is an American college football coach and former player. He is the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Tulane University. Craddock played college football at Middle Tennessee State University and professionally in the Italian Football League (IFL).
