Jonathan "Jono" Komagum [1] (born 15 November 1998) is a Ugandan-British professional basketball player for the Gostivar of the Macedonian League.

Professional career

London Lions (2022-2023)

Komagum signed for the London Lions last summer following his time at NCAA Division 1 school Sacramento State. He suffered a knee injury in Sunday's game vs Bristol that will require season-ending surgery. Resulting in him being out for the rest of the season. [2]

Bima Perkasa Jogja (2023-present)

On 15 March 2024, Bima Perkasa Jogja announces Komagum, who is going to replace Feliciano Perez Neto. [3]

National team career

Was called up to the Uganda national team for the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 African Qualifiers.

The 2021 Indonesian Basketball League was the sixth season since the re-branding by Starting5. The regular season began on 10 March 2021 and was ended with the Finals in June 2021. In this season there would be no official preseason tournament and all-star games, while throughout the season would be played inside a bubble in Bogor and Jakarta due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, every player, staff, and official must follow the strict health protocols implemented by the organizers.

The 2022 Indonesian Basketball League was the seventh season since the re-branding by Starting5. After successfully implemented the "bubble" system in last year's season, IBL decided to return into the Series format with the supporters are returning into stadium. The regular season began on 15 January 2022 and was suspended on 2 February 2022 until 3 March 2022, then the remaining series at the regular season in Yogyakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Denpasar, as well as the post season in Bandung has been cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The 2024 Indonesian Basketball League is the ninth season of Indonesian top domestic basketball league since the re-branding by Starting5. It is also the 21st IBL season overall since its establishment in 2003. The season began on January 13 and scheduled to end in August 2024 with two breaks, one in February due to the general election and FIBA Asia Cup qualifiers and another due to Eid al-Fitr and lebaran. All Indonesian cup will be started on September 22 and scheduled to end in October 6.
