Jonel Scott

Jonel Scott (born January 5, 1992 in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia), is a 6' 8" basketball player. He emigrated to the United States of America in 2009 where he played basketball at Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn, New York. He was a member of the ESPN Rise National team, 2011. [1]

He then played center in Wildcats, the basketball program of State University of New York Institute of Technology (SUNYIT) in UticaRome where Scott majored in Computer Engineering Technology. [2]

During his playing career, Fisher played mostly in Australia's NBL where he twice won the league's MVP award in 1989 and 1992. Fisher played for the North Melbourne Giants and Perth in the NBL, winning the championship three times in 1989, 1995 and 1999–2000. He also played for the Australian national team at the 1996 Olympic Games and the 1998 FIBA World Championship.

In 2014, he joined the Townsville Crocodiles, where he spent another two seasons and won the NBL Most Improved Player in 2016. After stints in Belgium and Greece, he joined the Wildcats in 2017, going on to win his first NBL championship in 2019. He has also represented the Australian national team.
