Jorge Alejandro Salum del Palacio (born 1 September 1962) is a Mexican politician.
In 2006–2009 he served as a federal deputy in the 50th Congress, representing Durango's fourth district for the National Action Party (PAN). [1] He also served as the mayor of his birthplace, [2] Victoria de Durango, in 2019–2022. [3]
Salum del Palacio left the PAN in February 2024 and joined the Citizens' Movement (MC). [4] He unsuccessfully sought election as one of Durango's senators in the 2024 Senate election, occupying the first place on the MC's two-name formula. [5] [6]
