Josh Fix is a South African-born American singer-songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist and music producer. [1] In 2008 Fix released his self-produced debut album "Free at Last", [2] which saw limited distribution but nevertheless garnered praise in the press, [3] [4] [5] [6] and, among other accolades, found itself on Time Out New York's "Best Rock Albums of 2008" list. [7] Associate Editor Hank Shteamer called Fix a "post-Radiohead Elton john [who] obliterated slacker chic with a virtuosically glossy piano-pop opus." [7]

Fix's most recent release, a mini-album "This Town Is Starting To Make Me Angry" (2009) was released in Europe through British indie label Lojinx. [8]

In 2009 he wrote the official theme for And Another Thing..., the sixth installment of Douglas Adams's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy "trilogy."

The song "Barely Insane" was used in the Season 2 episode of 90210 "And Away They Go."

"Lovers in Japan" is a song by British rock band Coldplay. It was written by all members of the band for their fourth studio album, Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends. The song is built around an introductory tack piano sound, then followed by chiming guitars and soaring choruses, supported by the pianos and rhythms that accompany the song's lyrics. The album version of "Lovers in Japan" also includes the track "Reign of Love".

Lucius (band) American band

Lucius is a four-piece indie pop band that got its start in Brooklyn, New York. The band relocated to Los Angeles in 2015. The group currently consists of lead vocalists Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig, drummer and producer Dan Molad, and lead guitarist Peter Lalish. Josh Dion (drums) and Casey Foubert (guitar) have been joining the band for live performances since Andrew Burri left the band in late 2016.

The album was released on 13 September 2013 in Europe, 16 September in the UK, and 17 September in North America, via Nuclear Blast. Something Old / Something New is the third extended play recorded by Canadian rock group Marianas Trench, released May 26, 2015 through 604 Records, Cherrytree Records, and Interscope Records. It contains two songs originally recorded for the band's fourth studio album, Astoria (2015), and two tracks that pre-date the recording of their debut studio album, Fix Me (2006), from their Self-Titled EP "Marianas Trench" (2002). The EP was released in promotion of Astoria and serves as a "thank you" to their fans.
