Josh Hill [1] is a Muay Thai fighter who is currently ranked 2nd in the middleweight division. [2]
In his early career Hill fought at Max Muay Thai, Yokkao and has totaled more than 50-fights in his young career, and was one of the most active UK fighters before the COVID-19 became an big issue. In his second ever junior fight Hill fought Stuart Stabler in 2013, would lose the fight and rematch Stuart again in 2016 in which at the time Hill would have a 15 fight record compared to Stuart who he claims had like one loss in 60 fights, Hill would lose the rematch by a close decision but claims it was one of his favorite bouts. At 18 Hill captured the UKMF English Title in 2018 against George Carter winning by points in England which was his first A-Class (full Thai rules) fight in the UK tho he claimed he had quite a few fights in Thailand previously. In 2018 Josh Hill made his MAX Muay Thai debut and fought current MAX Global Champion Suriyawut, Hill got dropped with an elbow in the first round, but came back strong and took the win by stoppage in the third round which also earned him the MAX performance bonus. It was his 3rd fight in 3 weeks, having fought George Carter 3 weeks prior as well as another fight before this one. The bout was his first main show bout after competing on the weekday show the year before. [3] [4]
Hill was on a 13-fight win streak at the time and was full of confidence ready to live a dream of getting to fight at the prestigious Stadium. In 2018 Hill took on a strong Thai who was a regular at the stadium, Hill was able to win on points. [5]
In 2022 Hill defeated Aaron Browne to capture the WMO European Super Welterweight Title. [6]
In 2022 After defeating Rajadamnern Stadium Muay Thai World Champion Kongjak Por Pao-In in September he got a title shot a month later against world champion Nauzet Trujillo for the ISKA super welterweight title. Hill would win his first world title by ko which got him signed to ONE FC. [7]
In 2023, Hill signed with ONE Championship Following a career-best year in 2022 that featured six straight victories and prestigious honors and was voted the 2022 Fight Record Male Fighter of the Year. [7] [8]
Hill made his debut with a decision win over Keivan Soleimani and grabbed his biggest win yet by defeating WBC MuayThai world champion Satanfah Rachanon also known as Satanfah Sitsongpeenong in ONE LUMPINEE 15 by decision which got him ranked number 8 in 2023. [9] [10]
In 2023 Hill fought for the WMO Super Welterweight World Title, against WMO British champion Alex Macgregor who's been unbeaten in the UK in six years. Hill would lose a 5 round decision. [11]
In 2024 Hill defeated world champion Joe Craven for the ISKA Muay Thai Middleweight World Title. [12]
In 2024 Hill defeated Jonathan Mayezo by Decision to capture The WBC Muaythai International Middleweight Title. [13]
In 2024 Hill defeated Satanfah Rachanon also known as Satanfah Sitsongpeenong and would later defeat Petchmai SiaDamMooPlaraRajadamnern by decision. [14] [15]
In 2025 Hill fought for the Rajadamnern Stadium Middleweight (160 lbs) title against world champion Petchmorakot Petchyindee Academy and lost by decision. [16] [17] [18]
