Josh Ottum (born March 1978) is an American musician, songwriter, and scholar. [1] Ottum recorded Like The Season [1] between October 2005 and June 2006 it was released in the fall of 2006 in Europe by Tapete Records, along with an EP, Who Left The Lights On?. Ottum was part of the 2006 Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany, and toured extensively through Europe in November 2006 and May 2007. Mill Pond Records released the It's Alright EP in May 2007. Ottum was part the Sit Down and Sing tour Archived 2011-02-21 at the Wayback Machine with Rosie Thomas and Nicolai Dunger in April 2008. Like The Season came out in the United States on October 20, 2009 on Cheap Lullaby Records. The Mellow Out EP was released by Tapete Records in May 2011 followed by Ottum's second full-length Watch TV, [2] released on July 8, 2011.

Contents

Ottum's third album, recorded in part with orchestral instrumentation, was funded through Kickstarter in 2012.

Yellowcard is an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. The lineup currently consists of lead singer Ryan Key, lead guitarist Ryan Mendez, bassist Josh Portman and violinist Sean Mackin. Primarily a pop-punk group, their music is recognized for having a distinct and unique sound in its genre due to their prominent use of a violin. The group's most-recognized singles include "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", and "Lights and Sounds". Released in 2003, "Ocean Avenue" and its parent album of the same name are both certified double platinum and platinum in the US respectively by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA); "Only One" and the band's 2006 album Lights and Sounds have been certified gold. Josh Garza is an American musician and drummer for the New York City–based rock band The Secret Machines, as well as the Los Angeles–based rock band EFG. Originally from the Dallas, Texas area, Garza formed the Secret Machines with brothers Ben and Brandon Curtis, and EFG with guitarist and vocalist, Imaad Wasif, later joined by bassist and engineer, Tom Biller.[1] He was part of the original lineup for the noise pop band COMET, and in the late 1990s, Captain Audio.[2]

"It's Alright" is a song by English boy band East 17, released in November 1993 by London Records as the sixth and last single from their debut album, Walthamstow (1993). The song was written by band member Tony Mortimer, and produced by Phil Harding, Ian Curnow, Richard Stannard and Neil James Stainton. The single version, labelled the "Guvnor mix", begins with a slow ballad-like intro for the first minute, before converting to the dance-pop sound for the rest of the track. It reached number three on the UK Singles Chart and became a number-one hit in Australia, France, Ireland, Israel, and Switzerland. The accompanying music video was directed by Chris Clunn and Lawrence Watson, depicting the band performing onstage.
