Joshua Inserra is an Australian soccer player who currently plays for A-League club Melbourne Victory.

Club career

Inserra joined Melbourne Victory's academy in 2021, where he played an important role in the club's Under 18, 20 and NPL Senior sides. In July 2023, he signed a scholarship contract with the club until the end of the 2025-26 A-League season. [1]

Inserra made his first-team debut for Melbourne Victory on 17 July 2023 in their 2023 Australia Cup playoff against the Newcastle Jets. [2]

Inserra made his A-League debut against the Central Coast Mariners on 3 December 2023 as a 77th minute substitution. [3]

International career

In May 2023, Inserra was called up by the Australia U-20 team for the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) Portugal Sub-18 International Tournament. [4]

In October 2023 Inserra was called up the Australia U-20 team for the Marbella Week of Football, a series of friendlies featuring the U-19 teams of Belgium, Denmark, France, Switzerland and The Netherlands. [5] [6]
