Jovah Kamateeka also known as Kamateeka Jovah Karamagi (born 6 March 1954) is a Ugandan politician and administrator. [1] [2] She is the District Woman Representative of Mitooma and affiliated to National Resistance Movement political party. [1] [3] [2] [4] In the 2021-2026 election, Jovah lost the elections to Juliet Agasha Bashisha who is the current Mitooma district Woman representative under the NRM political party. [5] [6]
In 1966, she completed her Primary Leaving Examination from Mitooma Boys Primary School and later joined Bwerayangi Girls Senior Secondary School for Uganda Certificate of Education in 1970. [1] In 1972, she completed her Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education from Gayaza High School. [1] She joined Makerere University to attain BA/ DIP ED (1976) and returned in 1982 to attain Master of Arts. [1] In 1985, she was awarded a Certificate in Law (Administrative Officers Law Course) from Law Development Centre, Kampala. [1] She later joined Uganda Management Institute in 1993 to get a Diploma in Public Administration & Management. [1] In 1994, she joined RIPA to get a Certificate in Project Planning. [1] She enrolled for Master of Business Administration at ESAMI and completed it in 2009. [1] In 2010, Jovah was awarded a Masters of Management Studies from Uganda Management Institute. [1]
Between 1982 and 1988, she served at the Office of the President as the Assistant Secretary. She later joined Ministry of Water & Energy between 1989-1990 and was employed as the Senior Assistant Secretary. Jovah additionally served as the Senior Assistant Secretary at Constitutional Commission (1990-1993), and Ministry of Local Government (1993 – 1997). She worked at State House as the Principal Assistant Secretary from 1997 to 1999. From 2002 to 2010, she was the Under Secretary at Uganda Law Reform Commission. [1]
From 2011 to 2021, she served as the Member of Parliament in the 9th and 10th Parliament of Uganda. [1]
She served on the Professional Body as a full member at the African Association of Public Admin & Management and Common Wealth ASS for Public Admin & Management. [1]
She was the Chairperson on the Committee on Human Rights. [1] [7] She additionally served as the member on the Business Committee and Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development. [1] She is a member of Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Committee. [8] [9]
She is widowed. [1] [2] Her hobbies are reading and meeting people. [1] Jovah has special interests in Bible study which she does from All Saints Mitooma Women DEV ASS, Hosting home cell, and Sponsoring orphans. [1] She is the member of University council Awist, member of diocesan council West Ankole and Chair board of health west. [1]
Mariam Naigaga is a Ugandan banker, statistician and politician. She is the elected Woman Representative for Namutumba District in the 10th Parliament and is a member of NRM, the ruling political party in Uganda. She serves on the special Presidential Advisory Committee on Budget (PACOB) and is a member of the Budget Committee and the Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development in Parliament.
Idah Nabayiga is a Ugandan politician and the District Woman Representative for Kalangala District in Uganda's 10th Parliament. She is also a member of the National Resistance Movement on whose ticket she ran on in the 2016 general elections.

On 25 March 2022, he was elected by fellow MPs as the Deputy Speaker of Uganda's 11th Parliament, taking over from Among who moved up to be the Speaker of the Parliament, all events following the death of Speaker Jacob Oulanyah.
Cissy Dionizia Namujju is a Ugandan legislator, and an ICT Expert. As of March 2021, she serves as the elected woman representative for Lwengo District in Uganda's eleventh parliament. Politically, she is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement under whose ticket she contested in the 2021 general election. Cissy has also served in Uganda's tenth Parliament under the same political party.
Rose Lilly Akello is a Ugandan politician and social worker representing Karenga District as the district woman member of parliament in the eleventh parliament of Uganda. In the ninth and tenth parliament, she served as the district woman member of parliament representing Kaabong District. Rose opted to represent Karenga District instead of Kaabong district because Karenga was carved out of Kaabong on 1 July 2019. Jovrine Kyomukama Kaliisa is a Ugandan politician and businesswoman, currently serving as the National Deputy Coordinator of the Parish Development Model.She was the district woman representative of Ibanda and affiliated to the National Resistance Movement political party. In 2021-2026 elections, she was the aspiring Woman MP for Ibanda District under the National Resistance Movement political party, however she didn't win the elections.

She is a member of the National Resistance Movement political party. She was the aspiring Woman Member of Parliament 2021–2026, of Katakwi under NRM political party.

She served as the MP in the tenth, and ninth parliament and lost in the 2021–2026 elections. In the ninth parliament, Peace Kusasira, took the seat from outgoing MP, Margaret Nalugo.

Juliet Bashiisha Agasha is a Ugandan politician who has served in the Parliament of Uganda since 2021. Agasha represents the Mitooma District's reserved seat for women as a member of the National Resistance Movement.
