Juan Carlos Escamilla (born June 10,1978) is a former state representative from Arizona,where he represented the 4th district. Escamilla was elected to the Arizona House of Representatives in 2013 after serving for six years as the mayor of San Luis,Arizona. [1] [2] He is a member of the Democratic Party.

The 2022 United States House of Representatives elections in Arizona were held on November 8,2022,to determine the nine representatives of the state of Arizona. The elections coincided with the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election,as well as other elections to the U.S. House of Representatives,the U.S. Senate,and various other state and local elections. Despite losing the concurrent Senate and governor elections,the Republicans flipped both the 2nd and 6th congressional districts,making this the first time that the party controlled six seats in Arizona since 2004.
