Kayahan Açar was a Turkish pop music singer-songwriter. He was an accomplished composer, consistently ranking among the best-selling Turkish musicians of all time. Kayahan composed all of his own material and released more than eight best-selling albums during a career spanning three decades. Kayahan released a number of compact cassettes, CDs and albums and had major singles. He represented Turkey in Eurovision Song Contest 1990 with "Gözlerinin Hapsindeyim".
Sertab Erener is a Turkish singer, songwriter and composer. Yine Sensiz is the 1992 album of the Turkish pop singer Tarkan. It was released in Turkey. This was his debut album and launched him onto the Turkish pop scene, which was modest at the time. The 1992 edition was only released as a cassette. It was re-released in CD format in 1993 with three new remixes. By 1994, the album sold over 600,000 copies officially, with an additional 400,000 copies illegally.
Mustafa Sandal is a Turkish singer-songwriter and actor. At the beginning of the 1990s, he wrote and composed a number of songs for other singers and made a reputation for himself in the music industry. He had leading role in comedy series "Başrolde Aşk".
"O Come, All Ye Faithful", also known as "Adeste Fideles", is a Christmas carol that has been attributed to various authors, including John Francis Wade (1711–1786), John Reading (1645–1692), King John IV of Portugal (1604–1656), and anonymous Cistercian monks. "¡El pueblo unido jamás será vencido!" is a Chilean protest song, whose music was composed by Sergio Ortega Alvarado and the text written in conjunction with the Quilapayún band. Together with the song "Venceremos", also by Ortega, it is one of the most successful songs of the Nueva canción chilena movement. The theme has a marching rhythm, highlighting its chorus, which is a shout or slogan with only percussion. Hadise Açıkgöz is a Belgian-born Turkish singer, songwriter, dancer and television personality. Born and raised in Belgium, her family is of Lezgin-Kumyk origin who settled in Sivas, Turkey. In 2003, she participated in the Belgian singing competition show Idool 2003, but rose to fame after releasing her debut album Sweat in 2005. The album spawned 5 singles and earned Hadise both a TMF Award (Belgium) and Golden Butterfly Award (Turkey). Hadise established and maintained a successful career in both Belgium and Turkey with the release of her self-titled album Hadise (2008). The album, which includes English and Turkish songs, features the single "Deli Oğlan" that became a number-one hit in Turkey.
Candan Erçetin is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Over the twenty five years of her singing career, she has been recognized for preparing and singing songs about human life. Despite the fact that she made her albums without much publicity, her work influenced other artists. Erçetin has released many music videos with different themes. Because her family originate from the Balkans, she has often used elements of Balkan music in her songs and works. In addition to Turkish, she has written songs in French and Greek.
Yıldız Tilbe is a Turkish singer of Kurdish descent and one of the best-selling musical artists in Turkey, known especially for her eastern-infused ballads.

Polad Bulbuloghlu, Azerbaijan's former Ministry of Culture, today Azerbaijan`s Ambassador to Russia and was once one of the Soviet Union's most famous pop singers.
Süperstar '83 is the ninth studio album by Turkish singer Ajda Pekkan. It was released on 19 March 1983 by Balet Plak. With the release of the albums Süperstar (1977) and Süperstar 2 (1979) in the decade before, Pekkan succeeded in getting critical acclaim, however, following her poor results on the Eurovision Song Contest 1980 she stayed away from the music market for a while. Meanwhile, she released two records under the Yaşar Kekeva Plak label, but experienced various problems with the company. While Pekkan's disagreements with the company continued, in August 1982 she joined the musical Büyük Kabare with Metin Akpınar and Zeki Alasya. Some of the songs from this show, which were written by Fikret Şeneş, appeared in the third installment of the Süperstar album series.
