Speciosa Naigaga Wandira Kazibwe,is a Ugandan politician and first female vice president in Africa. She was the sixth vice president of Uganda from 1994 to 2003,making her the first woman in Africa to hold the position of vice-president of a sovereign nation. Dr. Speciosa Kazibwe is also a Ugandan surgeon. She is also referred to as "Nnalongo",because of her twins. In August 2013,she was appointed by the United Nations's Secretary General,Ban Ki-Moon as United Nations Special Envoy for HIV/AIDS in Africa.

She is the district woman representative of Mukono District under the National Resistance Movement political party. She served as the MP in the tenth,and ninth parliament and lost in the 2021–2026 elections. In the ninth parliament,Peace Kusasira,took the seat from outgoing MP,Margaret Nalugo.
Linda agnes Auma is a Ugandan politician and legislator,she represents the people of Lira district as woman member of parliament in the parliament of Uganda,which she entered on an independent ticket. Auma is the state minister for Gender and culture and the vice chairperson of the National women council. She is also the former Resident district commissioner (RDC) Of Amuru district.
