Judith Blacklock is an author and owner and founder of the Judith Blacklock Flower School. [1]

In 2011, she organised Flowers@Chicheley Hall. [2] [3] She teaches and demonstrates at leading global floral events, including the Chelsea Flower Show. [4] and the National Garden Clubs of America. She has travelled and taught in Bahrain, Canada, China, Dubai, Turkey, USA, Japan, Spain and Kuwait.

Blacklock was editor of National Association of Flower Arranging Societies The Flower Arranger from 2003 - 2016. [5]

The Judith Blacklock Flower School is located in Knightsbridge. It is accredited by the British Accreditation Council and the specialised courses are accredited by the American Institute of Floral Designers. [6]

In June 2006, a rose was named "Judith Blacklock" in her honour with the proceeds going to Alzheimer's Society. [7] [8]

Thomas Moore was a British gardener and botanist. An expert on ferns and fern allies from the British Isles, he served as Curator of the Society of Apothecaries Garden from 1848 to 1887. In 1855 he authored The Ferns of Great Britain and Ireland. The standard author abbreviation T.Moore is used to indicate this person as the author when citing a botanical name.

Boston Flower Exchange

The Boston Flower Exchange is a wholesale flower market located in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded as a marketplace that local growers could rent cooperatively to sell their products in a space more suited to their needs than Boston's historic Haymarket open-air marketplace, it has been the focal point of the floral trade of New England for over a hundred years. Although originally a local growers' wholesale market, the Flower Exchange now features flowers and foliage from dozens of countries and has expanded to carry potted plants, glassware, pottery and other floral supplies. The Flower Exchange is not open to the public and is limited to members of the trade only.
